I just know that I am going to cry hysterically at the Specail Feautres because they will mention Walt's death (gets me every single time I watch the movie).

You know, I was just thinking last night, since The Jubgle Book was Walt's last movie and it is coming out on a fourtieth year anniversary release, Walt has been dead for forty years.

No, fourty one years. He died in 1966. The Jungle Book came out in 1967.

That's great!!! This DVD deserves 2 be on Platinun edition since its the 1 that brought us here today. I mean without it,their proboley would'nt be a Disney.

^ How do you figure that Jungle Book made Disney....I mean I really like it and it is the last animated film that Walt personally oversaw, but I'm not sure I follow your logic. Just out of curiosity can you explain a little more what you mean?

Well u really have 2 think about it(I guess). I mean, Walt died a few months before Jungle Book came out so the company ended up on their own having 2 remeber what Walt would say or do 2 get the movie done. I personaly I not a huge/big fan of Jungle Book, but I am a fan by 15% for 1. It's great, fun an all as well as the animation. 2. Because it's interesting how the company it's self had survied after tring story after story that could have been The Jungle Book, and finally came up with something that maybe Walt himself would be proud of.(u know u could reserch it your self 2 see what all I mean) So some times I think 2 myself: "Walt, you really would be proud of your company and how far they have gone."

I think it did because it showed how far you could push good caricature, something that was lost for about twenty years after Walt's death.

^Right, he explained what he meant. Although they were already pushing caricature, Disney was already well established. Even without Jungle Book there would have been a Disney, that came as a top of an already strong stack.

I just watched the DVD the other night, by the way. I liked all the previews for once, except another High School Musical, blech.
