Original Epcot logo revived

Over the past couple months ,retro Epcot T-shirts and hats have been sold at Mouse Gear. It might seem to be only for Nostalgia purposes but In the garden behind Spaceship Earth a topiary of the original Epcot Center logo is currently being planted.

Well it makes sense. With the wand gone, they no longer are forced to have the park's name be simply 'Epcot' because that's how the wand spelled it. Now it can go back to being EPCOT or EPCOT Center, and IMO EPCOT Center was always its best name. :biggrin:

If so, I think it's perfect. It's the best of both worlds: it has bits of the old Epcot font and also the newer C in Epcot from the more modern logo.

I believe that that is a fan generated logo. There will be a new logo for the 25th. However, it is not yet clear as to what it will be, to the best of my knowledge.
