This thread is where you can talk all about Walt Disney's first animated feature since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs... Pinocchio! It is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies, hands down.

It is a visually amazing movie, the plot line is good, yet I remeber it scaring the wits out of me when I was a kid.

It was a Disney Classic, just absolutely amazing. The music is just a classic, with When you Wish Upon a Star. :-)

I used to watch this movie all the time when I was little. I've seen it once this year, but I don't watch it that much anymore. It will always be one of my favorites though.

Great movie - great spin-off characters, too!
Jiminy Cricket, used later in lots of educational films and records, including the "I'm No Fool" series.

Figaro...who knew he'd eventually make his way into Mickey and Minnie's lives? Not to mention his own starring cartoon with Cleo!

Interesting trivia about Cliff Edwards, aka "Ukelele Ike," the voice of Jiminy Cricket:
He became famous in the early twentieth century with "Ja Da," which can be briefly heard in America Sings.

Edwards was also the first person to sing the now famous "Singin' In The Rain" on film in the Hollywood Review of 1929.

Sadly though, he died an unknown in a convalescent home in 1971. Nobody knew who he was until after his death.
