Walt Disney World has raised it's prices for the third time in two years.

An adult one-day, one-park pass has increased from $67.00 to $71.00. For children it's now $60.00 from ages 3 to 9.

A seven-day pass is $219.00 for an adult and $182.00 for children. This would average out to $31.29 a day for adults and $26.00 for children.

WOW!!! What do you think about the new prices at Walt Disney World? Let's hear your opinion.

I find it unfair, but I doubt there's much to be said/done about it. Everything gets more expensive as time goes on(especially since the price of gas is escalating everything else), and with all the maintenance the park requires, it's understandable that the admittance price is high. What I don't think they realize with doing things like this is that they're slowly driving off families. They've driven off mine, almost, because the family size they cater to is 3-4. Five is murder to accommodate affordably. They're gonna drive up the prices, show us some new additions. I understand that the name change at Hollywood Studio and the revamp of World Showcase must be expensive, but be reasonable! Anyway, this is another nail in the coffin for my hope of a winter vacation outside skiing.

Oh they know. They know perfectly well. It is their buisness to know. The thing is, their profit margine is probably higher than it has ever been. They know they can make a bunch of money so they are pushing their prices to make more. This goes far beyond merely adjusting for inflation. This is turning a quick buck. The problem with turning a quick buck is that you burn out your customers fast and ultimately it destroys your long-term potential. Disney hasn't past that thresh-hold yet, they are too smart to do that. They have reached a balance of keeping their long-term potential and turning a quick buck. It is genious and sickening at the same time.

You haven't stated an opinion yet. You reported a few pieces of information and then asked what everyone thought. I said what I thought, but I have nothing to agree or disagree with from your first post.
