Hey guys! I was on laughingplace, and I saw this LP Lotion that has pictures with the new Spetro Men and some walls up for refurb. And the Spetro Men are face characters now. But in my opinion, I liked the Spetro Men before they changed. Here's the link!

Even though I didn't went to see Spetromagic, they still creep me out. But I like the ones that they had before better. It looked better. And it was kinda cute.
They are even creppier than they were before.

It's just a dream!" *Then Spetro Men appear in your room* "AAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" *Then wakes up from nightmare again* "Son, why are you screaming?" his mom asked. "It's because of the Spetro Men." "Spetromagic is about to start," his mom informed him. "AAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhh!" he screamed.

They made something bad even worse.
I personally had no problems with the masks but now I have a problem with the face characters. They aren't well trained as face characters.

Actually, they're not trained at all as face characters. Face characters is something else completely - this is just your average performer that doesn't have a full-body costume. It happens all the time in every parade.
I'm not at WDW anymore, but I'd be willing to bet that this was a change made for performer safety, as those SpectroMen/LogoMen heads were extremely heavy.

^Can the heads get hot after a performance because of the lighting?

I don't feel like they got any hotter than other heads. Just really heavy - really bad on the neck.

I actually opened that parade back in 1991 and we called them "Chucky Dolls". I used to drive the spinning floats.

Yeah, it was a pain in the neck when it rained. The mesh would fill up with water and you couldn't see where you were going.
