Jungle Cruise Discussion

Wanted to create a thread for any discussion on the upcoming Jungle Cruise movie. Do you guys think it'll have indiana jones/anaconda type of action or do you think it'll be a movie with hardly any violence? Discuss your opinions and thoughts on the movie here!

Action/comedy. It should be an action movie with brief, yet solid, moments of incredible wit and and a little slapstick.

i think some action/adventure, mystery (of course!).

Maybe not too much comedy (we dun want it to end up like The Haunted Mansion do we..?)

One question, how is Haunted Mansion Comedy? I don't think its scary, but i don't laugh at all when I ride it.

well just jungle like. Indiana adv. Atmosphere with action and suspence.

I think it shouldn't be made. don't we have enough movies about rides? Sure, POTC was a hit, but HM bombed.

The Jungle Cruise is the only ride that I would consider a purposely funny attraction. You can't go on the Jungle Cruise and not laugh. Therefore, I think that the movie should be a comedy first and an action movie second. There's only one problem: Could you imagine how un-funny the Jungle Cruise ride would be after an hour and a half? As long as the movie doesn't go overboard with the cheesy jokes, then it should be really good.

-Dry, British comedy with stinging wit, biting sarcasm, and a nobody cast.
-Action adventure.

I hope it doesn't turn out like Jumangi.

Well there's another movie coming out that's from animation to live action acting...The Sorcerer's Apprentice is supposed to have Nicholas Cage as Master Yen Sid (live-action film sadly)

i say comedy...i dont want it to turn out like Hunted Mansion (even though iv never seen it iv heard bad things about it and hope Disney will re-do it and give it the justice that such a great ride deserves in a movie) but the Jungle Cruise is supposed to be funny. I think the ride should be like a 1 hour 45 min ride through the jungle cruise with a story in it...sure drama can be in it but i think it should mostly be based on comedy that great skippers can bring to such a great attraction (and hopefully a great movie) wow thts a mouthful lol

I think that this movie should be like the Indiana Jones movies, but more like Raiders of the Lost Ark than The Last Crusade or even worse, the Temple of Doom.
