This Ratatouille themed show is being planned for DCA and Disney Studios Paris.

It will be a 4-D tour of Remy, Colette, and Linguini's bistro from the end of the Disney*Pixar film, "Ratatouille".

Visitors will view a 3 1/2-minute film about cooking by Auguste Gusteau (with disclaimer) before entering the main auditorium.

The show will start with guests being told to put on "souvenir glasses" and and after tuning in on "Human to Rat translators", the audience will be shrunk to rat size. Remy (and Emile) will give us a tour as a meal is made (for Anton Ego). At the end, Django accidentally comes along as we are brought back to size, and while exiting, the song "Chez Paris" (I think it's called that) plays and guests are made to return the glasses.

Disney knows it is Pixar themed, but will make it up to guests in the future

It will be in the Golden Vine Winery at DCA and the former Animagique building in DSP

Verbal tour coming soon!

Here it is! A verbal tour of the new Ratatouille attraction!

Before entering the preshow room, guests are given "souvenir glasses" to keep at the end of the tour.

The preshow takes place in a small auditorium with a screen in it. After everyone is settled, a black and white film starts playing. The short film is hosted by Gusteau, who teaches us about cooking and the emphasis of his motto, "anyone can cook." At the end, a disclaimer says Gusteau has died and his resaurant has been closed down. At this point, guests are brought into the auditorium.

Once everyone is seated, a cast member will tell guests to put on their glasses before the tour can begin. After everyone puts on their glasses, Linguini appears and welcomes us to the La Ratatouille. After telling us the events of the film, he brings out a rat size Remy. Linguini then asks Remy to recite Shakespeare. He then tells us to pull down the little tables in front of us. Linguini explains that these are "Rat to Human translators" that can help understand "rat language". After tuning these in to Remy and putting the translators back up, Linguini brings out a machine form Prof. Iksnylazs that will shrink us down to rat size so Remy can continue the tour. He turns on the machine and through the effects of mist, strobe, and moving seats, guests are shrunk down to the size of a rat. Linguini leaves for Remy to take over the tour. Remy says hi to everybody and introduces himself. He begins to explain the tour and starts to set off, but Emile arrives and asks if can help (complete with smelly burp). Remy says no at first but Emile begs his way into it. Remy starts off the tour by explaining smells. He starts off by demonstrating bad smells. He brings us a bowl of fish and its smell fills the theater. Next, Remy demonstrates good smells. He brings out a strawberry and its smell fills the auditorium as well. He then reminds us to wash a strawberry before eating it. Emile then plays with sink water like he's a fountain, spraying the audience with water, until falling over and swallowing some. Remy then demonstrates the smell of freshness with cheese. Its smell fills the room as well. He mentions, "Don't you just wanna taste it?!" which Emile immediately does. Collete then appears saying, "Special Order! You know how he likes it." Remy then starts to make ratatouille, giving the guests another whiff of food. When it is done, the guests come along in an effect similar to HISTA to the table as it is served to its customer, Anton Ego. Ego thanks the waiter (Linguini) and also says a small hello to us. When he smells the ratatouille, an effect also used at Muppet*Vision 3D is used so the guests can feel some force of Ego taking in the smell. Once back in the kitchen, Remy tells us it is time to go and Linguini brings out the machine again. However, right before the machine grows us back, Django stops in its path to say hi to us, and becomes human sized. Remy tells him to come back but Django runs out the exit doors to go to EuroDisney. A cast member tells us that since a speck of food got on the glasses we will need to return them, no exceptions. As we exit, the song "Chez Paris" (I think it's called that) plays in the background.

The attraction is in the Golden Vine Winery at DCA and the former Animagique building at Disney Studios Paris

So, what do ya think?

Great! Just,it needs more special effects ,like science the rats are working the kitchen, they could crawl all over you (as in HISTA) before you shrink. Also, there needs to be some sort of problem, like skinner seeking revenge..., or something that goes horribly wrong! It sounds really good!

I think that idea is actually pretty cool. Good work! ;)

Well, we don't see any other rats besides Remy, Emile, and Django, so that effect wouldn't really make any sense. Also, this is to have more family friendly effects like in Muppets.

Sorry, but I can't think of a conflict the way the story goes. The biggest problem I can think of is the ending when Django is enlarged with us.

As always, Monkey:mickey:

I'm not liking the enlarged Django bit. It's too similair to enlarged Quark in HISTA.

I have a small announcement:

I have come up with two options for this attraction.
1) Revision it
2) Disregard it

Please tell me which I should do

Vinery would never work, or would never leave. They make to much money off that joint. Just like Festival Arena over at DL, will never go away, cause they make to much money using it for, Gays Days, corp parties, and private parties.

So you're saying I should disregard it or relocate it?

Relocate it.
