I am planning a first time trip to WDW sometime at the end of February first of March and would like some helpful hints. It will just be me and my father and we want to stay at a middle of the road resort as far as price. We plan to stay 6 nights hoping that will give us enough time to see all of WDW without missing a thing. We have been to DL numerous times and always go through the Disney Travel Co. and have never had any problems as we are familiar with all the hotels, transporation etc. We won't have a car so we would need an airport shuttle. Would this be a good time of year to go as far as the whether and crowds? I appreciate any help!

I think the time you're visiting is a great time! Most kids should still be in school at this time, so lines should be minimum to none. Have fun!

Hmmmm lets see..Caribbean Beach to me is kinda for couples. Its nice and lots of things to do, like fishing and mice boats and things. I would say the Coronado Springs is a decent resort for middle of the road. And like MDF said the crowds will be smaller, weather will be cooler but probably comfortable, although id avoid the water parks. Even though the water is usually heated, you still have to get out of the water and it will feel even cooler. I know there are several refurbs going on at that time so check the boards to see what will be down in case there is anything you are looking forward to riding, like I *think* Splash Mountain? Ive gone in January but not Feb so not sure of any special events. 6 days is enough to run thru the parks but not leisurely, so make sure you go with a plan. Know what attractions you NEED to see and which ones you can pass on. If you need any specific help please feel free to PM me, Id gladly help

Greetings!
I love any of the resorts at WDW. Just pick the moderate that you think looks fun to you and enjoy - you will not be sorry.
I would recommend last Feb because as you slide into March you could contend with Spring Breaks.
Disney was offering a free Disney shuttle from Orlando Airport to the resorts. As far as I know they are still free. They are awesome and very simple to use.
Disney travel is good. I also recommend Pam at Kingdom Konsultants. Do a web search on Kingdom Konsultants and you should find her.
6 days is good and you will be able to do most things that you want to do. There are some rides you can skip if timing gets tight. I wrote a guide a long time ago; a Disneyland Guide for WDW Vets. You are doign the opposite but some of the info might be helpful:

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask.

Anytime, just glad to help. I gotta second everything RU42 said, go in with a game plan because it can be extremely overwelming with 4 parks and so much to see and do. plan an itinerary and try and stick to it. Another thing I highly recommend is to mix rides and shows. This gives your feet a break and allows you time to catch your breath. For example go from Pirates or the Jungle cruise to the Tiki Room. It breaks up the pace a little. MGM is probably a half day park so you can either use the other half of the day to take it slow or go back and hit things you missed other days. Good luck and have a great trip!
