Disneyland's 'HalloweenTime' begins Sept 21st
Not too early to plan for the fall... (http://blogs.ocregister.com/discoveroc/2007/07/not_too_early_to_plan_for_the.html)

It's never to late to plan your visit to (fill in your favorite mobbed tourist attraction here). But it's especially never too late if you're talking about Disneyland. So, it is in that spirit that we offer this update from them for the fall.
The Disneyland Resort once again plans to transform the park come with a Halloween motif, and it will begin one week earlier this year. Disney's HalloweenTime is scheduled to return Friday, Sept. 21, and continue through Wednesday, Oct. 31, and yes, it's part of the (stop us if you've heard this before ) Year of a Million Dreams celebration.
A few new twists or expansions planned include:
The Sunshine Plaza in California Adventure becomes site of ?Candy Corn Acres.? Goofy is reportedly setting out to grow all manner of things candy corn: candy corn coconuts, candy corn carrots and candy corn pumpkins.
Mickey?s HalloweenTreat is set to expand. This separate-ticket nighttime event, which sold out last year, allows kids and their families to don their Halloween finest and trick-or-treat to their hearts' content after hours at Disney?s California Adventure. Additional nights have been scheduled and tickets go on sale August 1.
It's a good time as well to check out ye olde Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and check out the new Halloween guests.
Other additions include a bevy of Halloween shows, Disney character's in their own Halloween costumes, a decked out Main Street, Pumpkin Festival, a giant Mickey Mouse jack-o?-lantern, the return of ?Woody?s Halloween Roundup? at Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland, favorite Disney villains and more.
Finally, the Haunted Mansion is once again slated to be taken over by Jack Skellington and friends from Tim Burton?s Nightmare Before Christmas.
