Hey,
I currently own a Canon Powershot S3 IS and have been loving it ever since I bought it. One thing i'm wondering, is how to set a rather long exposure shot. I have tried the Night setting and Landscape, and both do come out good, but I'm hoping to find other settings that offer higher exposure. Please note, my knowledge in cameras overall isn't that well, and I have tried messing around with the other settings, such as Custom and whatnot. But I have no clue on what/how to set it. Can anyone give me some help or advice?

The best advice I can give you on that one is to read the manual. According to DPReview (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_s3is.asp), it can shoot up to 15 sec exposures. Custom or shutter priority ("Tv" on Canons, usually) would be your best bet. With a shutter priority you'll only have to choose the length of the exposure, with custom you'll also have to set the ISO and aperture. Not having that camera, though, I unfortunately can't tell you exactly what buttons to push to do that - you'll just have to check the manual.
