'Rev It Up' at Epcot July 27-28

What? Test Track isn?t fast enough for ya? OK, then, hot shot. Then put your pedal to the metal for the upcoming Rev It Up 2007 event to be held at Epcot next week, July 27-28.
The event, sponsored by Chevrolet and which is free to spectators and won?t require admission to the theme park (it?s set to be in the ?Explorer? and ?Wonder? areas of the parking lot), is both a performance-car expo and a set of driving competitions. If members of the public want to compete, there?s a $25 charge.
According to Chevy officials, the racing slots fill up quick, so advance registration via the Website is recommended. There will be some slots held open each day for people who just show up, too. Good luck on that, though, if you get there much later than opening time.
You have to be 18, of course, for the drive-course activities and 16 for the Karting events (with your parents? permission). Oh, yea, and for some reason you need a valid drivers license. There are a lot of other rules, too, so check out the Website for all the details. Also, you can call 800-958-1748 for more rules. And, hey, lookit: There?s even a chance to win a Corvette.
