Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been on here. I've gotten so much possitive feedback on my Haunted Mansion recreation. In fact the video ride-thru of my mansion has a view count up in the tens of thousands! But that's not what I'm on here to tell you. I wanted to let you all know about my latest project.

While I was still working on the last few rooms in the HM recreation, I had a side project that I would work on everynow and then. It was supposed to be an entire park based upon the Pirates ride/movies. I got maybe 2 islands into it before it just became overwhelming. There was just so much to build and tons of space that needed to be filled with rides and stuff. And I just didn't have the drive to finish it.

An overview of the Pirates Park.

I released the HM ride video, and stopped playing RCT3 for a while. After that I got a new hard drive upgraded to Windows XP (I had been running Windows 2000). But for whatever reason I couldn't get the expansion packs to install. So I couldn't work on the pirates park even if I wanted to. Finally, like a month ago, I got the expansions installed. But by now the HM vid had been much more popular than I could have expected. And from the sound of it everyone wanted to see more videos of my RCT3 creations.

So now I'm working on a re-creation of DL's POTC. I started work on it today and built almost the entire entrance facade! I'll try to have updates as often as I can. But life gets in the way sometimes, so bear with me. For now here is what I have so far.

Well I worked a little more on it today. I started to do the Blue Bayou loading area and found out something problematic. I was going to use the Giant Flume ride so the boats would actually be on the water instead of on top of the water in a flume. But I'm finding out that the Giant Flume doesn't go very far from the station, and has no means of further propulsion.

So I'm considering scrapping the giant flume. But I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get the splash boats ride to somehow go beneath the surface of the water. If not I guess I'll just have to put the splash boats above the water.

^ i know what you mean. i have the same problem with my JC project but i let it go. ummm did you try using the one water coaster? it's on an actual coaster track and you can use the block brakes or whatever to control the speed and what not. and you can always color the track black or whatever. and it is a boat so it works well. give that a try. it's under water rides...you'll probably notice it. hope i helped.
