Inside Bay Area (Bloomberg News) - Oakland, CA

Walt Disney Co.'s Ratatouille will sell $100 million in tickets in the film's first 10 days in theaters, the company's head of distribution said. The Pixar movie has collected $80.5 million in domestic box office sales since its June 29 release, Chuck Viane, president of distribution for Walt Disney Studios, said Friday in an interview.

To reach $100 million, Ratatouille will need $19.5 million in ticket sales this weekend. It will reach the milestone by Sunday, he said. "There's no doubt in anyone's mind that we'll be over $100 million in 10 days," Viane said.

I can sure see why! This movie was awesome, in fact I plan on seeing it a couple more times before it leaves theaters. I left that movie HUNGRY and the first thing I did was come home and look on the internet for a recipe for ratatouille----it looked SO good in the movie!! =)

i hate that the article has a sense of sarcasm especially when it says that its the lowest opening for a pixar film. that really annoyed me, obviously this writer doenst know how to write.

Looks like they made it, at least according to the estimates at Box Office Mojo (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=ratatouille.htm)

I think it's hilarious people have to judge movies by if it beat the latest money grossing film or not. I am sure the companies would love that very much, but as long as they make their money back and then some, I am sure they are just as happy. If it cost them 20 million to make (for example) and they just broke 100 million.... Thats a big profit in my mind. I would be happy, a 400% turn around.

I have the game for PSP, and it involves finding the stolen recipies. And There are actual recipies in the game. But I haven't found the recipie for Ratatouille yet. But Idk if it's on in.
