this, like Indy 4, is a movie I am not sure if I am happy with them making another one.

I hope it is good.

I didn't expect to like the first but have become a card-carrying member of the National Treasure cult. I'm looking forward to #2 (although, except for Empire Strikes Back, second movies are not always up to snuff.)

When I visited the studio I saw them filming in this cave thingy, and when I ate at the studio restraunt I saw the supporting actor and the leading lady. No Nicholas Cage!

I am super excited about National Treasure, I loved the trailer so I am hoping its as good as it looks. The 1st one was really good and I am really excited to see what they have next instore to this trilogy. I wouldn't mind seeing a 3rd one either, they are nice original adventure movies! I know I saw a post earlier probably in the Pirate thread by PEOPLEMOVERMATT, about no original movies, well I would have to say National Treasure is really and truly it!

Here's what I think: The first one was horrible. The second looks significantly worse. And that's about it.

You know, for a historical based movie it was a such a slap to history's face that I can't really stomach it. Basically, the movie was a mind-numbing, blow-stuff-up fantasy. The second looks even more fanciful than the first.

I'm sorry, but I am a history buff and I hate movies when history is twisted for the sake of making a quick buck and having a cheap thrill.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I personally loved the first one and can't wait for the second one.
I could understand your statement better if this was supposed to be a based on real historic story....I look at it as a Fictional movie with some history brought into it. I don't know if that makes sense, but that's way I see it.

I see your point. Sorry, it's just one of my problems that I can't overcome.

OMG that looks awesome...iv always been in to history things like this. This is what a Disney movie is supposed to be...AWESOME!

I just hope that with the conspiracy thing in it, it doesnt get like banned from theaters or discriminated by the government like JFK with Kevin Costner

Okay, fine, I admit it. I want to see it. As long as their isn't a third coming out. Actually, this looks better then the first. I guess because I like history...
