Try not to do too much too quick, and try not to be intimidated by the sheer size & scope of WDW.

Do try to see what you can at your own pace. Try to work in rest days and be sure to take in all your surroundings instead of being in a mad dash for everything!

During the afternoon, when the parks are most crowded, go back to your hotel for a swim or a nap. After a few hours, go back to a diffrent park. It kept things at a slow pace for our trip.

^ That most certainly depends on your budget.

Save money a fancy hotel and blow it on cool stuff in the park. I suggest going with a "value" hotel like Pop Century because they are nice but inexpensive. Pop Century is the best of the "value" hotels. It is centrally located in the WDW, making it close to the all the parks instead of only near one but far from the others. Plus, POP has its own bus system. The other "value" hotels are all located on one bus route, meaning you'll have to make several stops on the way to the park you're going to. POP is seperate from the others so it gets to the parks quicker.

How many days are you going for?

You should go to MGM Studios, that is really fun that is where Rockin' Rollercoaster is, and TOT along with some other good rides. And the Magic Kingdom, is fun. When I went about 6 almost 7 years ago, I didn't go to Epcot since at that time it was not very exciting nor did I go to Animal Kingdom. Sorry, I hope you have a GREAT time, though! :)

I think you should totally go to WDW, I love DL with a passion. But it is also cool to say I went to WDW, plus you might have a bit of a different experience that you may love. I understand that is a hard choice between DL and WDW, but I think you have to go to WDW at least ONCE! And think of it this way, even if you don't like it at least you have been there! :)

Ditto!

Go to Walt Disney World at least once. It is amazing and I know you won't regret it. Either way have fun!

If you want to know what resort I stay in when I want to get away from home in FL, it's the AKL. And yes, the animals really do come right up to the room. My OS Newspaper got ate by a particualar long necked spieces in the morning. I'll never know who won the game btw....

depends on the length of stay as well. anything less than a week and you will be hardpressed to see it all at WDW. And even if you kinda almost do you will have to rush like crazy to see it all. take your time and enjoy the things you DO see instead of rushing to see all that WDW has to offer.

OMG WDW in JULY!!! It's going to be 1000 degrees just take it slow and really try to take it all in, enjoy everything around you.
Our favorite resort is Wilderness Lodge we've stayed there three times.
Just be careful if you ask for the Ketchup in the Resturant there lol
