Woman attacked at WDW Tea Cups
Woman Says Disney Bungled Case Of Tempest In Tea Cups (http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2007/5/29/woman_says_disney_delay_may_prevent_char ged_in_alleged_attack.html)
Central Florida News 13 - Orlando
A Lake County woman says she was attacked while waiting for the Mad Tea Party ride at Disney World and Disney's delay in calling sheriff's deputies could keep her alleged attacker from ever facing charges.
Aimee Krause said another patron quickly escalated a dispute over the lineup for the ride. "I just kept feeling blows to my legs, my breasts, my head. As the punches were coming, I could feel something tightening around my neck. I could feel the clothes tearing and people screaming," Krause said.
As bad as the attack was, Krause said she's more outraged over the way Disney handled the case. She said Disney security delayed calling Orange County Sheriff's deputies for 40 minutes ? a lapse she said dramatically impeded the investigation and made it more difficult for her to press charges.

What makes it hard to follow is the fact that it says Orange County Sheriffs. HAHA. Is WDW in an Orange County also? If so, WOW that's confusing.
And I hope that the woman is all right. >.<;; What a terrible thing to have to go through. Ugh.

Yup, it actually is! Except for one of the All Star resorts (I can't remember which, or maybe it was all of them) which are in Osceola County (which mean that when I was there in 2002, sales tax was actually different at All Star).

The fact that there were a lot of people just standing there screaming...
plus wouldn't a CM have done something about it.
I don't like this one.

I hope no suit comes out of this. It is stupid that disney didn't follow any protocall as such. I mean this person got beat up. But I do hope that no grudges come out of this. I think disney should have automaticlly sprung. what i found stupid was that they did not find it important enough to call police. does she have to be gashed in the leg for it to be important? but anyway. I still love disney

The way she explains it is somewhat odd...I mean, in the videos I can't see really any bruising...I think the whole thing is a bit fishy...orange county, lol.

I don't understand this story either. There's no stated reason for this alleged "attack". Why was there a fight? I don't see anything in these pictures. Story seems a little suspicious to me. Terrible reporting on this story. I can't make any judgement on it because it's missing 98% of ANY facts!

Yeah I too am perplexed by this story. I saw nothing in the pictures showing scratches or bruising. But I you just gotta love these stories though. Shows the stupidity in humanity and is full of entertainment. Like a Jerry Springer episode (which I just can't stand) but on paper in short form. LOL. Yes that was sarcasm.

Ok so i'm not the only one, sigh.
So is the story trying to say that she was harassed in the line by the people behind her/around her? And what does do they mean "allegded", does that mean they are not sure she was attacked?

She was probably wasted and stumbled into someone in line and thought she got beat up when she really just fell down or something

If Disney security is delaying a call, that can only have ONE reason: Disney company would probably forbid them to "act" as they should.
The one thing said in the video is true: if a victim asks for calling the police anyone who is able to do so (in this case Disney security) MUST call..........
Disney is clearly in a case of obstruction of legal rights.........
(Whatever the seriousness of the bruises... has notthing to do with that)

It's either a necklace, or she's trying to kill herself.

Arrest made after Tea Cups attack
Woman Accused Of Choking, Beating Disney Rider Over Place In Line (http://www.local6.com/news/13701541/detail.html)
WKMG-TV Local 6 - Orlando, FL
A 52-year-old Alabama woman was arrested on suspicion she beat and choked a woman who was allowed ahead of her while waiting to board a tea cup ride at Walt Disney World, according to authorities. Witnesses said Victoria Walker became enraged after the victim and her children were allowed ahead of her at the "Mad Tea Party' ride in May.
Walker was questioned after the incident and allowed to return to her Alabama home. However, when a judge noticed how severe the victim's injuries were, he signed an arrest warrant for Walker.
It took deputies nearly two months to catch up with the woman but she was picked up on a warrant in Alabama and transported back to Orange County. She bonded out of jail Tuesday.

More details on the "teacup tussle"
Disney teacup tussle leads to mom's arrest (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/orl-teacups1907jul19,0,7066062.story)
Orlando Sentinel - FL
One mother faces a felony trial and another the threat of lifelong head and neck injuries after a run-in at Walt Disney World's Mad Tea Party ride. The fight as children and adults were boarding the ride was all about whether someone skipped places in line. "Everybody was going to get on the ride," said Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Solomons. "You shake your head and wonder how this could happen."
The scuffle in the Magic Kingdom began May 27 when Victoria Walker accused Aimee Krause of jumping the queue leading to the spinning teacups ride on May.27, according to a Sheriff's Office report. The report then describes what happened next:
Walker, 51, yelled and cussed about the perceived slight and shoved two children with Krause, then 34, as they all waited in a holding area to be the next group on the ride.
Walker was in line with her 11-year-old daughter. Krause had her children, ages 6 and 7, and a friend's two children with her in line.
Krause had just put the second pair of children in a teacup when Walker kicked her from behind. Walker, who stands 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs 230 pounds, then grabbed Krause -- who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall -- from behind and began beating her. Walker stopped only after she was pulled off the smaller woman.
Police at first thought it was a minor dust-up and allowed Walker to go home to Alabama. But Krause's doctors diagnosed a concussion, a herniated disc in her cervical spine and post-traumatic seizures. When investigators saw that, they issued a felony warrant and had Walker arrested in Alabama.
Walker has since been transported to Orlando and charged with felony battery. She posted $4,000 bail Tuesday and was released from the Orange County Jail.

Witnesses wanted in Tea Party Tussle
Witnesses wanted in scuffle at Walt Disney World Mad Tea Party ride (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/custom/tourism/orl-bk-teaparty082307,0,7026436.story)
Orlando Sentinel
Orange County Sheriff's investigators are interested in finding more witnesses to an attack at the teacup ride at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom earlier this year.
Victoria Walker, 51, faces felony battery charges for allegedly attacking Aimee Krause of Clermont because she thought the other woman had skipped her place in line for the Mad Tea Party on May 27. Krause, then 34, was jumped from behind and suffered serious injury to her head and neck. Walker, who lives in Anniston, Ala., is scheduled to go on trial on Oct. 29. She had pleaded not guilty in the case.
Deputies found several witnesses to the attack in the days following the attack. However, with additional media attention, they are interested in interviewing anyone else who saw the scuffle. Witnesses are asked to call 407-939-3200 and ask for Detective Kelly Boaz.

Wow. Do they honestly need more witnesses to testify against this woman? Or is it just for more media hype? Even if the lady did cut in line, was that any reason to beat the living snot out of her in front of tons of people including children at one of the most family friendly destinations on the planet? No. Guilty. End the case. LOL
