Indiana Jones Adventure at Animal Kingdom

I had this idea of placing an Indiana Jones Adventure at Animal Kingdom in the Asia area. There would be some big changes coming. To fit with the Indiana Jones thing the area would fit in with the 1930s so Expedition Everest would be moved to an expedition on Mt. Everest in 1930s instead of present day time & the same goes for Kali River Rapids & Flights of Wonder.

The story is that Jones has discovered a temple where an tiger god named, Lio ruled for centuries. In his temple he invited many gods to guard his temple including snakes, insects & tropical rats. One night a powerful curse hit Lio's temple causing he & all his animal gods to seek their revenge!

It's up to you to help Indiana Jones to brave the Temple of the Cursed Tiger!

The track would be similar to Tokyo DisneySea's IJA & include almost every element as it's.

Due to this they'll have to come up with something new for the Dinosaur ride. Any ideas on what to do with it so we can have Indiana Jones Adventure?

Well, if every area had to have their rides b pt in the same time period, we wouldn't have Pirates, Fantasmic, and the Haunted Mansion in the same land. Same goes for Tarzan's treehouse, jungle cruise, and the tiki room. It could be placed inbetween expedition everest and Finding nemo.

It doesn't have anything to do with the attractions, I Just thought it would give the area more character to fit with the Indy thing. We could also make Everset more interesting if you felt like archeologists scaling Everest in the year like 1936.

I think that both Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest already have solid enought themes that shouldn't be changed around by trying to force an Indy theme or a theme that would parallel Indy's.

For the attraction itself...
I would try designing a new type of Indy attraction that does not hold the previous versions' ride technology (found at DL and TDS) while keeping it within the Asia theme.
That way, you wouldn't have to worry about re-imagineering Dinosaur, which would mean (if you had to change the ride vehicle) creating a completely new ride concept, ride layout, as well as theme.

Even with having an Indiana Jones Stunt Show at Disney Studios, a new indy ride at AK could still work, if done properly.

Here's my plan to make Indy the best. Instead of having safari cars, we'll have a full moving mine car that tips forwards backwards & even on it's sides it will also have more characters from the movies, we'll have radio communication with Sallah & Henry Jones, Sr. just for all Indy fans. Also in it we'll have a mor realistic looking Indy using the same technology for the Jack Sparrow for the Pirates layover. We'll aslo have it feel as if guests lives may be at risk. There'll be water effects, real lava & actual flying insects!
To also make it feel realistic it'll look as if the temple rooms are crumbling down as the mine cars travel through them.
The queues will also feature a guest member who is kidnapped by the curse of Lio.

I know the ideas are really bad but it's all I can think of for now.

And for Dinosaurs, the new track system will feel more relaxing but it'll feel as if dinosaurs are wanting to board your car.

What they could have it a stunt guest (similar to the stunt show, only he doesn't reveal hmself) enters the preshow with the guests in line. He stands in a particular spot, shoving guests away in the madness, with perhaps a family surrounding him (also actors). Then, Lio's cursesurrounds him with smoke and he is replaced with a cast member in a large (not scary) lion costume. He and his family then depart from the preshow area and exit from the remainder of the queue

I also forgot to menchain that I need an idea for what to do with the Dinosaur building. I was thinking maybe a nature centre that talks about dinosaurs. I had an idea of it being an indoor coaster but it was pretty suckish.

Don't do anything to Countdown to Extinction, it's fine the way it is.

How about this, what if this new Indy ride wasn't the usual ride system, but was a boat ride through the Temple of Shiva's Gem.

The name kinda of sucks, but that could be worked out later.

It's at Animal Kingdom so it has to have something to do with animals. But I guess if we're going through the rat, bug & snake chambers that might count.

also, I knew lio was a tiger, and lions do live in Asia!

Where in the Asia area could we fit the show building?

I had said earlier, why not between Everest and finding nemo. They could also make the pathway larger so more people can fit through.

Yeah, we could fit a path that leads around Expedition Everest & have it seem as if the temple was built close to Everest to attract more archeologists & turn them into Lio's slaves.

keep in mind that the backside of Expedition Everest isn't designed like the front. It is only a normal show building.
