This is an enclosed Coaster. (Pretty crude, but I like this so far.)
Everyone knows how a runaway MINE train would act.. But has anyone ever thought of a runaway bullet train?
Now, for those who don't know, a so-called Bullet Train is a high speed electric train, Usually a Shinkansen (In japan) But there is also Eurostar and TGV. This is modeled after Japan's trains.
The QUEUE:
The outside portion of the line looks like some grand station you'd find in chicago, or something. Winding through the massive structure you find some intresting train memorabilia, and facts, as well as famous trains, lines, and people involved with trains, of all kinds. After the last Snake (My term for a line that winds back and fourth) the line goes into a dark tunnel, that occaisilnally lights up, revealing the night skyline of Bond City. After you curve around and downward, you snake by a section of the ride! Every so often, a train will come screaming by. Not only is it LOUD, as well as the people screaming, the train sounds like it's about to fall right off the track! As if that was reassuring enough, the supports look like they're going to fall righ apart! (Of course, it's only special effects.) After that very brief but terrifying dose of what might happen to you, the focus is back to Bond City, and a recent power surge that has its entire populous on it's knees. Soon enough, you enter the station, which looks like nothing more than a simple station stop on one of Japan's High Speed trains.
The RIDE: Guests board what look like mini Shinkansen trains (Maybe). (SIX CAR TRAINS, with two axles per car. Each "Axle" would have six sets of wheels. Think SPACE MOUNTAIN trains at DLR)
Each car seats six, except for the front car, that seats four. (The nose of the train takes up one row.) The trains themselves are silver, with white and black (Use your imagination on this one.). The station looks like a grand train depot of the modern world. After boarding, the trains roll out from the station , turning to the right, out of sight from the station. The simulated night sky is very dark, with nothing but a lone mon and city lights for light. Suddenly your train pulls into what looks like a rail alley. Your train slams to a stop and Work lights go on. A voice comes up from a PA system, "Ladies and Gentlemen, we appologize for the inconvience, all trains have been halted due to a massive power surge. To ensure safety we advise you to remain seated. Again, we appologize for the inco--" Interrupted by a HUGE surge of electricity that moves from an unseen source, to a wire above the train and track..
Next thing you know, you rocket from 0 to 60 in three seconds, into a dark tunnel, into a drop, producing some serious ejector airtime. After the launch, the train dives up, and circles to the left into the first set of block brakes. The train dives, twists and turns through Bond City, narrowly avoiding concrete pillars and crashing off the viaducts. All the wile, through each intense turn, your train makes horrible metal on metal screeching sounds, like your train is about to fall off the track! And simulated sparks fly from what look like the wheel wells! All of this goes to a heart-pounding soundtrack! Every few turns, your train jerks violently to the side, making it feel like your train really has left the rails. After crashing off the viaduct (Special 'road' for high speed trains, usually above ground level), you crash your way through the sky scrapers and streets of Bond City! Soon enough, you run off the streets and dive into the jagged mountains behind the city. This can't be good. Going through the mountains are rough, but you eventually make it.
As your train dives downward you barely miss hitting an overpass, with every single turn, you nearly miss hitting something. Finally, your train comes to a stop at an old power-plant. Finally, you can breathe! Unfortunately, something went seriously wrong at this power plant (of an unknown type..) And your train is sent rocketing forward, upward by a HUGE explosion! As if that wasn't bad enough, you're now on the streets of Bond City, twisting through, and avoiding traffic. As the ride ends, your train makes a highly intense helix into the brake tunnel, where you appear to be going BACKWARDS. All in the special effects. Finally, your ride is over, and you're back to the grand station. A quick turn to the right, and your train stops, the lap bar estraints go up, and you exit. On your way back to the real world, you can see how ridiculous you looked while dropping down from the launch. Woah, was your hair standing straight up? Buy a picture!
Here is the soundtrack for the ride. I am making this in Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster, for those of you who have it. It won't be as elaborate as the discription, but it will feature this soundtrack. (Featuring the pop group BOND) (http://www.box.net/shared/xe7ysfsev5) Edited to fit the ride.
The train does sync to the music pretty well.
