Hi I was just wondering if it is worth going to this event. My dh, dd11, and dd10 will be at the world the first week in December and were debating on going to this. In October 2004 we went to the Halloween Party and were very disappointed , the 'limited admission' turned out to be more crowded than the daytime crowd.

I did this as part of a 9 day stay at WDW 2 years, we all enjoyed it

We went last year and it was nice. Fireworks show is the best part. I think MGM's Osborne light festival is better than Disneys main street set up and it is free!

We are going back again this year and will pass on Mickeys Christmas party and spend an evening at MGM.

There are sooo many events during this time of year, from Tree lighting ceremony and Castle lighting ceremony to Gingerbread castles and creations at the nicer resorts. Eventually I will make it down there to see everything. I too was kind of disappointed with the large crowd during Halloween but it was fun to get dressed up and walk around seeing the kids reactions just like if I was one of the Disney characters.

I wish no one would go to the MVMCP so they stop doing them and then everyone can enjoy the MK Christmas offerings without having to spend extra.

Correction

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade will not be running this year. A new parade currently being built is being performed this year. The new parade is called Mickeys' Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, with completly new units and a couple old ones.
