I am pleased to announce that Walt Disney World Resort has announced the offical opening of monster's inc. In the magic king. Here is some information on the new attraction set to open. I hope you find this is exciting as I do.

Opening April 2, 2007

Help Mike Wazowski, your "Monster of Ceremonies," and his wild and crazy pals power the city of Monstropolis ? with laughter! Mike and his buddies have transformed the Laugh Floor at Monsters, Inc. into a comedy club for visiting humans. You won't have the exact same experience twice as Mike invites his furry and funny friends to the digital stage to trade jokes with audience members like you. And don't miss the wise-cracking Roz, who isn't sure Mike is up to the task!

See you in the park.

The opening is real, I was more referring to the fact that it's horrendously out of place on the main drag of Tomorrowland. This isn't caught between lands like our Matterhorn is, this is on the main drag of Tomorrowland there. Can you imagine if a MI ride was built in Disneyland's Tomorrowland where Star Tours' extended queue is? Makes no sense at all.

^^ What does make sense today in the new attraction placements?

I agree with you 100%. Would this attraction have been better suited for Disney-MGM Studios, whatever you wish to address it, or would it have been better to simply never create the attraction?

All I know is that the once newly-themed Sci-Fi Tomorrowland is giving way to a new land of out-of-place cartoons. Sure, I understand Stitch (while I did give AE three thumbs up...the thrid thumb for if I was also an alien...?) and Buzz Lightyear while this was the first Buzz attraction, not the best, but a good ride :)

So it's been shortened from "Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club" to just "Monster's Inc Laugh Floor" eh. Maybe they realized there isn't all that much comedy.

Yea but it's in what it called ''Test Mode'' so theya re just testing it with guests to see if they need to close it for another 4 months based on how funny it was. But it's offical opening that is if guests find it funny will be April 2.

My family and I was at MK on Nov. 21, 2006. As we entered Tommorrowland a CM asked if we would like to be part of a preview audience to a new attraction. Being visitors from California I'm not too sure if they have been doin this regularly. The show was in a very rough developmental stage and we even had a Q&A session with the Imagineers afterwards. From what I saw it looks to be a fairly entertaining attraction. I'm only hoping they will bring this to DL, CA to replace the dated HISTA show. We all know the uber cool Captain E-O is never comming back.

I forgot to mention that they thanked us for our time and rewarded us fastpasses to any fastpass attraction that day wich was really cool.

I okay with Stitch, and I agree with your statement on Buzz Lightyear, but MILF DOES have bad placement. I was going to post that it belongs in MGM (or DHS) untill I saw your post.
