View Full Version : Do you think The Magic Kingdom should have a new parade?

Hi everyone,

I have a survey about a possibility of a new parade. They have Share a Dream Come True Parade for five years and they renew it which is now called Disney Dreams Come True Parade. So, as a survey, do you think the Magic Kingdom should be ready for the new parade? Feel free to post and maybe I should come up a parade for the Magic Kingdom.

Though I like the refurbishments, I am seriously BORED of Share A Dream/Disney Dreams Come True Parade.

Yes, it is time for a new parade...maybe something that actually involves a bit more thinking instead of simply re-dressing the same floats and giving the parade a completely new name.

There will. After August 31 (When Year Of A Million Dreams Ends) the parade will under go a new theme. Along with the possible return of Main Street Electrical Parade.

^^ No idea. I have heard nothing about the MSEP returning to WDW.
I heard they were sending one (the DCA version) out to HKDL in
the future.

Yes. and it should be called "Return of The Main Street Electrical Parade" ;)

:o lol it was orignally going to be gone for a few months like before but they decided to keep it in DCA and gave us that excuse but we all know that they keep the floats and made it into Spectro magic.

Huh? I thought that when it left WDW it went to Paris where the French didn't appreciate it. so Disney just sent it back to the US but never put it back into show.

I've seen the Disney Electrical Parade at WDW (I had to see video to realize it, I was like 2), DCA, and possibly DLR (Same as WDW). It is actually a very nice parade although I do think that they need to add something else to the parade to make it newer and more modern.

They should keep it fairly the same though, it would be awesome to bring back a classic like the subs at DLR.

^^ Well the submarine lagoon in Fantasyland is gone.

If they did bring back the MSEP...I hope it is more modern (technology and show wise). If you haven't seen a video of The Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade, check it out! Their parade is a little different, but I think its pretty good.

I really hate the "Share the Dream Come True" parade so yeah... a new parade would be nice :)

I'd LOVE to see the electrical parade back again.

I must have just died and went to heaven. If the MSEP comes back to WDW, I can't wait for my next WDW trip!

The Spectro Units were all new units. Not ones form WDW's MSEP. The WDW MSEP units went to Paris. The Disneyland ones are still being used in DCA, and are being sent to HKDL, along with the ones currently not in the parade. As far as i know, the WDW units are in dismantled sections in a warehouse in the North Service Area.

Sure, a new parade would do some good to the Magic Kingdom to freshen up the park.

I think WDW should get the Electrical Parade. Only instead of the regular parade, how about a brand-new version of it, kinda like the Dreamlights version found in Tokyo? Same music and same floats and all that, but drastically updated. In fact, if you want, I will post my take on this parade on this thread at a later date.

I thought DLP's version of the parade was what is going to HKDL.

They would never send Spectro to DLR. There parade route is not wide enough to accompany the units. You have to remember WDW's and DLR's parade routes vary in width.

What about Disney's Hollywood Studios? Would that able to accommodate SpectroMagic? Or is it too narrow there, too?
