Ok I got the port for those of you that know what I had to buy and all. Now how or where do I plug it in. Both of the 2 cd's they gave me open up files nothing to do with installing. The directions say to plug it into some port I never even heard of. If this helps here is a photo of it and a link of what it does and such.

OK got the port installed (thanks almadot) and I plug it all in and it finds the device ask what i want to use I select windows video maker it cant capture the video i seleted the winDVD creator and it cant find any files in the camcorder how do I get it on my computer? Lol Sorry but I cant seem to find a way to do this anybody help Me please?

Ok major break through! I have to playback to caprture! It works finally. Thanks everyone for all of your help. I'll be bringing the videos I took so far which is basicly Universal Studios Orlando stuff soon. The feb. 10 was with my JVC which kinda wasn't that great. It had a recall or so the lady said with the nightvision which messed up my Mardi Gras parade at the beginning some like 5 maybe 10 seconds my new panasonic works great. Which should be the feb. 20 around that area movies. Bringing them soon. Be on the look out. Once again thanks everyone who helped me you guys are great.

How old is your computer? Because almost every computer that is about 2-3 years old has fire wire in it?! lol

My computer is a 2006 model. No firewire port. It has just about everyknown port. But no firewire or floppy disk (oddly)...
