pulled this from disneyworldtrivia.com

Sandie Charles from St. Augustine, Florida wrote to one of the podcast hosts (Mark) about how her son and his family took their terminally ill baby daughter and other children to Walt Disney World and was approached by a Dream Squad Member named Nancy. Nancy inquired about the small baby, who was only weighing 2 pounds. Upon hearing their story about how their daughter was terminally ill and they just wanted to bring their baby to Walt Disney World for the first and most likely last time, Nancy disappeared and reappeared with stuffed animals for the children. She then took them through the "back doors" of attractions and escorted them to the front of the line at several rides.
When the family came home, their daughter the same night, passed away.

So sad... *sniff*

Oh man, that's just heart wrenching! Thoughts are with the family during their time of loss. Thoughts are also with the CM - I'm sure this was sad for her to deal with. :frown:

That is a very sad story and the Cast member should be promoted for her kindness.

Wow. How touching! Only Disney would go the extra mile liek that.

Imagine the family talking to a Magic Mountain employee about that. I can't possibly see more than the employee just saying "sorry" and walking away.

Very sad indeed. Hopefully this made it a small bit better. My prayers go to the family.
