Hey people. I saw a comercial ad for a new game called Thrillville. Looks much like RCT but for consoles like PS and X box. It seems really cool, and I was thinking about getting it. Have you guys seen it or bought it already?

This game isn't even a RCT3 though.

actually it is from the creators of rct3 but they did a poor job making it.
the coaster cam is really bumpy and u cant name ur rides and some other things like that.
the only thing i would say that is good about it is how u can actually drive the go karts and play minigolf.
i take back that i hate it,it just isnt the game for me,i like rct3 way better.

Its not supposed to be like RTC3. Its supposed the interactive theme park of your dreams. RTC3 is the theme park that you make.

You CAN name your rides. The coaster cam is based on the RCT3 cam, and is redesigned to customer opinion!

In Thrillville you can create sevral ( Although not nearly as many as in RCT ) types of rollercoasters. It's actully easier to use then RCT! The only REAL downside to this game, is the ability to place your own scenery. Oh, and the fact that you have another limitation. Along with Money, you now have " Power". Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but, you can't EVER get more power. After it's used, it's gone. The only way to earn back power is to demolish other rides.



Due to the lack of Scenery, Scenerios ( 4 of em' thats not including 5 ), and only one sandbox park ( Thats scenerio 5 ) This game has MUCH room for improvment. But don't expect to get any Expansion Packs. Seeing as how it's for Consol systems, you can't expand.



This game gets a nice 8.5 from me.

^^ I rember them talking about naming rides on the interview they have on there website. It was frontier, and Lucas Arts this time, so not atari. Intresting that its lucas arts because almost all there games are Star wars games

I have the game for PS2, it's really easy to unlock the senarios. I got the fifth park only a week after I bought the game.

It sucked when I tried to make a Space Mountain Re-creation because of the lack of In-door coasters on the game. It would be way better on the PC. Or RCT3 is better than it if its not coming out for PC.

lol. I agree. They were OK but on something like PS2 you want to wonder who you'd play with if its only 2 players. I don't want to get a multi-tap extension for 4 players. Yeah I tried making Superman: The Escape from Six Flags Magic Mountain, but there was also a lack of reverse coasters (if RCT3 has it) so I had to make the track high up then turn to go down. Maybe if RCT3 was put together with Thrillville (the minigame options, avatar customization, and park guest opinions) the game could be a hit. But I'm not buying Thrillville unless the sequel is similar to RCT3 and I can actually make Space Mountain.

yea... on RCT3 you can basically do anything you want... but on thrillville there are no walls, and only about three types of coasters. lol
