Is there stationary seats in Soarin' now?

Hello everyone!

I thought I saw an advertisement for Soarin' which showed stationary seating on the ground for those guest who are uncomfortable with heights. Is this true?;)

With the design, I think that would be impossible since only the first row of each seating could actually see the screen, and even then it would be obscured. Perhaps you saw mention of the 'Green Team (http://visionsfantastic.com/main.php?page=missionspace)' for Mission Space which is a non-spinning version of the ride.

Thank you Chris for your reply...Perhaps thats what it was.. To bad because my mom would love to go on the ride, but she is very scared of heights, even if she took the first row as well.:frown:
