Why does everybody hate Magic Kingdom, and WDW so much? I allways hear so many bad things about the rides, the shows, and the buildings, compared to Disneylands. Why is that? I love WDW, so I can't see why people allways made treads, and write so many bad things about. I can't understand it, please help me with that!

I think you're misconstruing hate with difference in opinion. I don't hate WDW, I just don't think it has the same touch that DL has. There are things about WDW that I like and there are something's I don't. You're going to get that anywhere. It's just a matter of comparing ice cream to a frozen yogurt. You have the same concept, some of the same ingredients, one has something the other doesn't, but people prefer one over the other. But I think it's a bit extreme to say we hate WDW.

crystaltink is right. We must also not forget that most of the people here joined because it was a Disneyland forum. That has changed recently so it will take a while for things and opinions to change. But yeah, I don't think anybody "hates" WDW a lot of us just have never been there.

For me personally, I love Disneyland because I was born and raised in California and visited Disneyland for the first time when I was 2 years old. I set a goal for myself when I was 8 that I wanted to work at Disneyland (a goal that I did indeed achieve). It wasn't until I was 31 years old that I got the chance to visit Walt Disney World. Let me tell you, as much as I love Disneyland, if today someone was to offer me a free two week trip to either park, I'd choose Disney World because in the 4 days I spent there, I barely (and I stress barely) got the chance to see everything. As a matter of fact, I didn't get to explore the Magic Kingdom that much at all other than Cinderella Castle, Main Street, and Tomorrowland (making sure to catch SpectroMagic).
In response to your question, it's definitely not that anyone here hates Walt Disney World, it just seems that most of the time the emphasis of advertising and such is spent on Walt Disney World with little or no mention of Disneyland at all. Without Disneyland, Walt Disney World would never exist. I'm sure a lot of it is a "West Coast" vs. "East Coast" type of deal with folks and how often they visit one versus the other. Something along those lines.

This is sorry, was a DL only site and it will take a while for everyone to get used to the WDW half.

VF is expanding and the more it expands, the more diverse the opinions will be. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on these boards. Now I will try to encourage you to give the reasons why you have your opinions all I can, but at the end of the day, we're not all going to agree on everything.
Instead of complaining about those differences of opinion, let's be supportive of each other. I have not seen any WDW 'hatred' anywhere. I've seen negative opinions of WDW, but that's to be expected on a discussion board. Eventually, we're going to have a good amount of people who have favorable opinions of WDW as well. We aren't going to last long if we become splintered and divided. Let's all try to be supportive of each other & be the community we are first, then we'll discuss our opinions.
As I said, I'm not seeing outright hatred. This is a discussion board & discussion's going to happen. If you disagree, tell us why you disagree. That adds to & benefits the discussion.

I love WDW more than DL for the simple fact I've been there more... while that's not the norm on this board, I think it could be reversed in order to understand why so many like DL so much more... it's just the more you're around one thing more than the other you have a great appreciation for it
not only that but Walt Disney walked the 'streets' of DL, and never walked in the WDW park(s)... so a lot of people 'feel him' more in CA than in FL

I have never heard of all this WDW hatred you speak of. Though people have opinions, and I have seen many more who like Disneyland better, but that doesn't mean they hate WDW. Also take note that the majority of members here are DL fans, simply because VF started as a DL site and not WDW.
I myself, never have been to WDW, but I'll choose DLR simply because I love it there. It is more historical and easier to see many things there. If it would be your first time to DLR and hope to see everything in the time given, you can most likely see all of DLR in about 3 to 4 days, thats convenient. You can't do that with WDW, however. On the other hand, WDW has some very unique and amazing looking attractions that DLR has yet to see.

I don't see any point in continuing this thread. No one 'hates' WDW & open hatred is a violation of guidelines anyway. A differing opinion, a differing majority opinion even, is much much different than 'hating' WDW. Continual discussion in circles about it is fruitless. Therefore, thread closed.
There is a DLR/WDW active thread in All Things Disney! so discussion in that area can be continued there.
