I'm not bragging, but I had a wonderful time at that movie. Here's my review. (For short, I'll call the movie NBC.)

So, as most of you know, NBC was only released in select theaters. I was lucky to find one in Greenville, a 2-hour drive, but close enough. When we bought our tickets at the box office, we were also given the 3D glasses. "I like this kind", my brother says, "It's not the crappy red & blue stuff!" My mom and I agreed: This looked promising! So after we got our popcorn, candy, etc, we took our seats and waited for the show to begin.

The Show:
After a few previews, there was the scene that told us to put our glasses on. (It was narrated by the same voice that narrated the trailer.) So once we did, the voice told us that "Tim Burton's tale" would begin in 3 seconds. While this is going on, there was one of the jack-in-the-boxes on the screen; its' handle turning. At the countdown of 3 - 2 - 1, the numbers popped out toward us (cool!) Then, the jack-in-the-box opened its' lid and the jack-o-lantern head shot out, laughing and bouncing just inches from our faces. This was real 3D!!!

After a 3D trailer for Meet the Robinsons, the movie started with the new Disney Pictures logo......AWESOME IN 3D, MAN!!! The Disney Digital 3D* trailer ran which tells me that NBC is the start of cool 3D movies to come from Disney.

I won't have the movie part up until Sunday. Sorry, but I'm camping this weekend and I really want to be the one to review this to you guys. I know your patience is thin, but bear with me.

Thank you!

I'm hopefully gonna see it soon. I have the movie on VHS but I wanna see it in digital 3D. I don't care what anyone says, Chicken Little looked GREAT in D3D.

As somebody mentioned above, I really did feel that it simply added a tangible 'depth' to the movie, as opposed to cheesy 3D popping motions found in other such movies (Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, anyone?). And the D3D logo was nothing short of breathtaking.

I saw NBC yesterday on Cartoon Network because I've never seen it before. It was a cool movie, but I don't think I liked it enough to search for a theater that has it in 3D. I'd imagine this is one of the best movies to do in 3D though.

Sorry about the wait. OK:

The opening title was presented in red letters and were larger in proportion. They sort of "came out" toward you. Not too much... just a little. When This is Halloween started it was apparent, just like rockinroller91 effect in the scene, was where the bats from the moon fly toward you.

The Graveyard scene was pretty uneventful with 3D effects. The part where Jack steps down from the hill was cool with the way the moon seemed miles away from him. Pretty much just depth as we came to the Season Forest.

When Jack leaned in the Christmas door, he leaned into the theater! Depth prevailed in the What's This? scene. During the Town Meeting scene, I noticed a character in the background that I had never seen: the Grim Reaper! Another "into the theater" moment was Jack's 'And they call him: Sandy Claws'. (I leaned back quite a ways.)

The Butterfly in the Bottle looked a little weird, because the butterfly was so pushed forward, it seemed like Jack was looking behind the butterfly.

Kidnap the Sandy Claws had only one 3D effect: the scorpions.

Making Christmas was depth, depth and more depth.

When Lock, Shock, and Barrel got to Santa, they bagged the audience as well. When they released him to Jack, Santa slightly came out into the theater.

The rest of the movie carried on to be a wonderful feast for the eyes. At the very end, when the vampires are playing hockey, the pumpkin shot out toward us. Whoo!

During the credits, cards (with illustrations from the book) floated from the dark hovering around the words for about two seconds.

This was really a wonderful presentation of the movie. For those who didn't get to see it, I sincerely hope that they will release this again.

If I remember something else or if someone else does, (if you do, PM me) then I will post it.
