Why did the High School Musical Pep Rally get put in the Magic Kingdom when it would have fit in better at MGM Studios? It's out of place in Tomorrowland. For the Year of a Million Dreams the Magic Kingdom already has the Dream Along With Mickey Castle Show, Animal Kingdom is getting the Finding Nemo Musical and Epcot got the Living Seas with Nemo leaving MGM Studios with nothing new.

I dont know I thinks its stupid (I hate High School Musical) Ive seen a video of the WDW show and its so cheap its sad. Compared to the DLR version its really nothing but a flag thing on a cheap stage and 5 actors who cant sing or dance..

I saw a brief glimpse of it when I was walking into DCA and I thought it was horrible.

The DCA version has some thought to it, with the movable stage and all but
MK's has a very temporary look to it. And why is it in Tomorrowland?

Good Question...
You think that this would be something they would want to place in Disney-MGM Studios.
The only logic I could piece together was that since Tomorrowland is supposed to be a city, that is their High School..??.. :icon_ques
Your guess is as good as mine.

Hmm, well I think that it's in the MK is,
1. it has the room and a unused stage
2. MGM has way too many shows
3. the target people, teens and younger folk, are mostly going to be at MK
That's all in my opinion, does anyone agree.

but it doesnt use the Galaxy Palace Theater it uses a 10 dollar stage on its own in outside in the middle of Tomorrowland

for those of you who think the show at DCA is horrible, the public obviously doesn't agree. that show is the single most popular new thing at the park, and it will definitely be here to stay for a long while.

How about this? You take the DCA Pep Rally Stage, make a replica of it, put it infront of the Sorceror's Hat in MGM, and everyone calls it a day. Or, if you really want WDW to out shine DCA, put the full High School Musical show in the backlot theatre, the one that closed down with hunchback?, close in the theatre, and have it play every night with people paying to see it?

sounds like a plan ;)

Nothing really just special performances by school students and etc. Its been almost 10 years since they had an actual show on that stage.

I think that they are over-doing HSM, I don't think that a DCOM needs a parade at DCA and WDW. Get rid of it, keep it to Disney Channel.

It's probably getting moved to MGM. Little kids love it and have a blast seeing it and that's reason enough for me to do it.

well it shouldn't be in tomorrowland anyways.

I think it's all right if you ask me, I like High School Musical, just the WDW version is too cheap.

^^it was reported that the one in WDW will move to MGM Studios and be turned into a version like DCA's, i.e. the good version.

^^hmmm, interesting. you know I never even thought about that. my guess would be that it would be exactly like it is in DCA. Block Party Bash comes out at 1 time during the day and HSM comes out at 2 different times. so at MGM, the SaMCP will come at whatever time and HSM will come out at different times.
LOL PMM, you'd think that was a mistake for DCA to have the better of something. but hey, DCA is the only park I think that has 3 parades (counting HSM, BPB, and DEP). that's gotta be some sort of record.

Their pep rally has already been moved to MGM studios and replaced with DCA's version so it's the same as ours now.

I was at WDW recently... HSM had the most showing of any show in the park (one almost every 45 minutes (with the exception of the SaMC Parade)) almost every time i walked by, there were people lined p for the show. Unbelievable. and actually, if you count the Mulch, Sweat, & Shears moving vehicle, MGM technically has three parades as well.
I have just seen the show who has been created in Walt Disney Studios in Paris. It is terrific and it gives a new life to this Park.
There are somme videos on youtube. But it is much better in live!

During the end of July, all of August, all of November, and all of December Disneyland Park has three parades.
-Disney's Once Upon A Dream Parade
-Disney's Fantillusion
-Disney Characters' Express
How many times they are performed:
-Disney's Once Upon A Dream Parade (1)
-Disney's Fantillusion (1)
-Disney's Characters' Express (4)
