I was thinking about my pins today, so i decided to make this thread

1:Do you pin trade? (or just collect them)
2:What was your first pin?
3:What is your favorite(s)?
4:Are there certain ones you like to get? (I.E.:villans, rides, etc.)

for me:
i only have about 8 right now, and love getting them
2:my first(and biggest) is one of Stitch looking at his tail that looks like a mermaid. under, it says capricorn (my astrological sign)
3:i love my Rock N' Rollercoaster pin that is shaped like a guitar pick and my POTC one that is the "aztec gold" from the first POTC. oh, and one with "darth tater"...lol
4:i like ones that are about rides and parks. saw a really cool Epcot one, but didnt get it.......wish i did

what about you?

Pin collecting isn?t a hobby, it?s an addiction. My two kids trade whenever we go to Disneyland (about five times a year). I just collect the ones that I like.
My first Pins were only of Mickey, but I have mostly stitch. I couldn?t pick a favorite but the ones that I like the most are of Stitch dressed like Elvis. My daughter collects mostly Aurora and Goofy.

Any trade that makes you smile is a good one??Muddquez:cool:

I don't trade, I love to collect, though. My first pin was a picture of mickey in a hot air baloon. My lanyard came with it. But, my favorite is one of Walt Disney and Mickey with a tinkerbell on the top.

I would LOVE to get one of the new Pirates. I saw one when I went there in August, but I didn't have time to get it.

1:Do you pin trade? I have traded at the parks a few times, but I mostly just collect them.

2:What was your first pin? Honestly, I don't remember! I think it was one of the 50th pins...

3:What is your favorite(s)? I bought this "Naughty And Nice" Stitch pin set on DisneyShopping that is absolutely hilarious!

4:Are there certain ones you like to get? (I.E.:villans, rides, etc.) STITCH STITCH STITCH! :icon_shoc What more can I say? The only other pins I have are the 50th ones and a few misc ones with my other favorite characters.

I love to collect them, I usually dont trade, or haven't tried yet. My first pin was the Partners Statue one. My favorite is the 50th pin (its really hard to decide, I like them all ). I like to get the park one's and the characters :)

My favorite pins that I have are Cinderella's coach and three Sleeping Beauty pins. But I don't have very many pins. I do have a half-dozen or so 50s pins (which I keep on a 50s hat) but those and the others I mentioned are about it. First, I'm obsessive about everything else and am trying to be reasonable about SOMEthing. Second, I can barely stand to wear a piece of jewelry around my neck for a day and could never tolerate one of those lanyards, much less one full of heavy pins.) . To be honest, I don't really understand pin trading. Do people buy two of some pins so they have one to keep and one to trade?

I do a little trading, mostly collecting. I have 5 pin bags!!
2:What was your first pin?
My first pin was from the 1998 set and it was The Peoplemover pin
3:What is your favorite(s)?
Anything nostalgic, mainly any pin with the old marquee sign.
4:Are there certain ones you like to get? (I.E.:villans, rides, etc.)
I am still missing 2 out of the 10 pin set of the cast member trash cans.

i mostly just collect, but i did buy one to trade. onve i traded it, i traded the one i got, so eventually i will have had alot of diffrent pins for a short time. the last pin i could get before i left WDW was on i think i can only get there. it was the disney magical express bus(the blue and creamish colored one) is this a rare one?

I don't trade, I just collect. My 1st pin was a gift with my admission ticket about 15 or 20 years ago; it was a Goofy in Adventureland pin. The first one I bought was Figaro; I got him because I'm also a Cat Fancier. after that, I got Eeyore (he's always been my favorite Pooh character), then Tink, because what girl could do without her...
