This Is One Of My All Time Favorite Movies And They Are Going To Release It In Theaters In Dolby Digital 3-D! I Was Just Wondering If Anybody Else Was Going To See It.

I dont think i will. I used to really like the movie, but i feel its been so pushed in my face from the whole emo/wannabe goths obsessing over it, i just dont like it that much anymore :(

I checked the site for Portland, and it's just not playing in my area. Last year Chicken Little 3-D played in Tigard and Vancouver... This year, nothing. :frown: I don't understand this. I thought they were supposed to increase the number of theatres outfitted for Real-D. Why wouldn't they at least play the Portland 'burbs again? There's plenty of Goths here...

Hmm... according to the movie website, there is no theater here. But according to my local theater, they are playing it. Does anyone know if they are also re-releasing the movie in non-3D format at the same time?

^ I don;t think they are they're just letting the audience see the movie in a different perspective hence the 3-D edition of the movie

Never liked this movie. Seen it, bored by it, turned it off....hate the Haunted Mansion being overtaken by it.

Since this movie is a Disney release, we're leaving Off Topic and headed for All Things Disney! Please keep any stray body parts inside the vehicle at all times. Thank you.

Whoa that was a bumpy ride!!!Jk. Just saw the Trailer and it looks nice but I'm probably not going see it because I just don't want to. I might rent it from Netflix.

Agreed! Not to mention spotting the same Jack Skellington sweaters in Disneyland 20 times per visit is rather nauseating.

I might go. I'm a little curious of how the film will turn out (Henry Selick mentioned how the mistakes were kept in the film when they were converting the images) and am waiting at the chance to mock the upcoming cover songs Disney's going to throw at us.

I'm going. Based off of the fact that I like the movie and I never saw it in theatres. I agree, that it's gotten a little overkill w/ Nightmare worshippers. But that won't stop my appreciation for the movie. It's still a good movie.
