I remember a while ago seeing something somewhere online about being able to mail your favorite characters and they would mail a signed photo back. is this true, and if so what's the address?

Yes, that is true! I sent a letter to Stitch and I got a picture/autographs from Lilo and Stitch! I don't remember the link offhand right now, but if you go to the Disneyland website, then go to the contact form, there's a section for character mail. Just write to your favorite character and tell him/her you'd like his/her autograph. It may take up to a month to receive it though, but sometimes waiting is half the fun!

I would suggest that if you want to request an autographed picture of one of the characters you send a letter to Disneyland at:
1313 Harbor Blvd.
Anaheim, CA 92803
Or send your letter to The Walt Disney Company:
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521

I say we have these things for VF staff. Wouldn't you all just die to have a photo signed by one or more of us?

I remember when I was a kid. Back in the early 90's, we used to get our autograph books and get everyone to sign them. Man that was so awesome. Do they still have those for kids? I have failed to look since I am a little old now.

Oh yeah, they still have those books........signed a gazillion of them when I worked there!
As a matter of fact, I even have one myself that has a few autographs in it from when I would go watch TV shows being filmed. I have Charles Robinson, Jay Thomas, Mary Steenbergen, and Ted Danson in it!

Haven't a clue. Ted Danson has a new show coming out soon, maybe she'll guest star on it.

Yep, they sure do, in fact someone around here has a video of me signing a little girl's autograph book at her request not too long ago. Hopefully he gets that video out of post-production soon so we can all see it!

can anyone give a direct link to the charcter contact page?
I can't find it anymore! :frown: They changed their contact page. Under message subject, it used to have a selection for "character fanmail" or something like that. You'd choose that and then just ask that character if he/she could send an autograph. I don't know if you'd just choose "other" now and ask that your message be delivered to the character of your choice or what.
We'll be moving from Off Topic to All Things Disney! Don't pull down on the safety bar, please. I will lower it for you.
