I am that'll do pig (from the movie Babe which is one of my all time favorites). More on my Babe obsession can be seen in a Hoggett Farm-themed Day of Defeat clan at www.hoggettfarm.com

I am married >10 years with two young daughters. Both love all things Disney.

My favorite Disney movie is Snow White.

Attraction is Haunted Mansion.

Park is Magic Kingdom at WDW (only fair since I have not been to DL since I was 4 in 1974).

Character is Mickey Mouse.

Restaraunt is Sci Fi Diner at Disney Studios.

Salutations, I'm Sirose. Don't worry if you mispronounce my name wrong because many people tend to. The proper way to say it is 'SY-Rose'. But if you get it right the first try, you're pretty talented! And if you're still confused about my gender, it would be female.

I'm currently an incoming Senior at a Catholic High School in San Pedro, California. My main fan bases include Disney, Disneyland, Harry Potter and Star Wars with many others on the side such. I'm what you call a geek as you presume.

As of my future specifications, it has been a childhood dream of mine to become an animator under the Mouse's lead. What inspired me to draw is Disney, owing many motivations to pick up a pencil when I was little and constantly watched The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty. I hope that soon enough I'll be at CalArts where Walt Disney helped institute a foundation for all artists to learn and grow.

I've been visitng Disneyland ever since I was at least one year of age but it hasn't been recently that my fondness for the park exploded into a clear obsession. Luckily, all my friends share the passion.

As for Corner Cafe, I've been with this board for a while now but not as long as others. I was here a few months before the original blue and gold set up of Disneyland Source was still here and when it jumped to what you currently see now of Visions Fantastic. I don't post as much as I used to but be assured I'm still lurking, reading and thinking.

Hi. I'm Shane. I grew up in California. I lived in Orange County until mid-junior high and then I moved up with my family to central California which is where I've been ever since. I've been a Disney fan my whole life. I just started checking out this site a few weeks ago though. This is a great Disney site!

I'm Nicole, former CM @ the Disney Stores. I love Disneyland and this site is awesome. If you see me at VMK say hi...Pirates is my favorite current ride and the Peoplemover is my favorite past ride (which I am hoping they bring back). Hi everybody, my name is Bryan. I just graduated college at the University of Oregon. I was born in Anaheim 22 years ago and have been obsessed with Disneyland since the first time I went. Now that I live in Oregon, I have to satisfy my obsession with sites like this and the great videos from RU42 and others nice enough to spend their time keeping us updated on what's going on in the park. My next visit will of course be July 17th, 2005. I have been planning on this trip for years and I was actually able to make it happen. I hope to see you guys there!

06-20-2005, 12:23 AM
Hello!!!!!! I go by Hyperion 77. Long story short, I like things that have to do with tomorrowland. Espescially the People Mover. I just randomly picked a name, but as it turns out, the Hyperion Space ships were in a jules Verne novel, if I'm not mistaken. I love the show Remember. I can kind of 'conduct' the fireworks with a little wand I have. It's so cool to see the reactions I get.. I LOVE the main street electrical parade. I even did some art based on it. Anyway, I am a castmember since December of last year. I'm just a young pup. :P

I work in the Custodial Days department at Disneyland park. I'm all over the place, I don't have a "home land". Talking to guests is the most awesome thing ever. ^^. I'm also the ONLY custodian that carries a green yoshi in his burgandy pouch. :P I'll be looking forward to seeing you guys out there! :D

Hi, I'm John! Let me just start by saying I've never been to Disneyland EVER!!! (I know, it sucks :frown: ) I've always wanted to visit the place where the magic all started but never could (we were going to go this year but at the last minute we decided to go to Vegas instead). What makes it really sad is I've been to Disney World 16 times (every year of my life). So I decided to join this site in preparation for my long awaited trip to the magical world of Disneyland  Also just to hold myself over I bought A Musical History of Disneyland and many of the Extinct Attraction Club's DVDs.

Now a little about myself! Inspired by Walt as a kid and even today, I am determined to set up my own animation studio and produce "Walt" Disney quality movies. Although we will start out making 3D animated movies, I will eventually set up a traditional 2D division (as I'm determined to not let it die out). My goal is to revolutionize the world of animation once more. All media produced by me (wheter it's a TV series, feature film, or just a commecial) will be top-notch and receive large budgets. I will also pay tribute to many of my favorite past animators (such as Marc Davis, Chuck Jones, and Don Bluth) by using their art style in my movies and maybe, if possible, even get them involved. I'll also only have the best composers for my movies (Alan Menken anyone). Look for a website in the near future that will contain updates on this matter ;) Off that subject and on to favorites! My favorite imagineer is Steve Kirk, my favorite Disney characters are Figment and Skippy, my favorite Disney ride is JII (original), and my favorite Disney park is EPCOT. Also, I'm a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts! Well, that about sums me up so thanks for reading and I hope to eventually get to know you!

Hi, all. I`m Martin, known as Marni1971 here and at WDWMagic.com - and, yes, I`m male; I had no idea Marni was a females name in the US (it is a long story about a nickname, an old dearly departed friend and the Flintstones.. don`t ask!)

My hobby is video editing, hence my tribute videos and multi camera ride thrus of WDW and DLP - kind of the Eastern RU42 (hi). I have never been to, or probably will get to, Disneyland, so excellent sites like Visions Fantastic are the next best thing.

Hello to everyone! I'm Alex T. and have been around here since the Disneyland Source days. As a California native growing up in the San Gabriel Valley our family took many a trip to DL. I'm old enough to remember ride tickets, riding the Flying Saucers in Tomorrowland, eating at Capt. Hooks, and watching Mickey do a magic show in the Fantasyland Theater. Now living in San Diego, married with 4 kids, we try to make it up to the resort at least once a year or so.

Hey, I am Brent Ray. I grew up in Phoenix, AZ and I now live in the suburb Peoria. I have been devoted to Disneyland for about eight years. As you all probably know, I am a big fan of all the Disney parks around the world.

My favorite park I'll have to say is probably, Disney's California Adventure. I love it because most of the rides are big thrills and I am a roller coaster junkie. I love California Screamin', Tower of Terror, Soarin' over California, the Sun Wheel :icon_shoc , and of course, my favorite: Grizzly River Run:icon_redf! I am also a devoted fan to Walt Disney World. I have been discovering what the parks have to offer, and now I know pretty much about anything over their. I am a big fan of the Animal Kingdom, and I love Kali River Rapids (as you can see, I love rapid rides).

Some of my other hobbies besides being a devoted Disney fan is playing sports (specificly Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball). I also LOVE to use the computer. I am also a big fan of SeaWorld.

Another one of my hobbies is making web sites and video editing. I also love to film many attractions at the park myself, and then add music to enhance the experience. I am starting a web site called DisneyAvenue, and it's devoted to only the theme parks, not the music and movies. I will be creating movies and I will add music and update my site regulary. Right at the moment, my site is not up. I still don't know when I will get it all finished, but probably around the end of this year (still not sure about that!). I also would like to thank Visions Fantastic, because they were a big influence to start my own web site. Thanks Visions Fanastic! I would also like to thank my influencer: Walter Elias Disney, for making me a devoted Disneyland fan! Thanks again.

I remember that. Then we all started a discussion on what was in the water... yeah. Anyway, I guess I should introduce meself as well, eh? All right.

I am the great Zip~a~dee~doo~dah (name spelling and inspiration taken from the sing-along Disneyland Fun video I cherish). My nickname at high school is "Disney", but I prefer my more distinguished name, D'artagnan. I 'm studying computer graphics, cartooning, and soon, architecture, in order to become an Imagineer.

HI! My name is Crystal. I love Disneyland! I just got back yesterday from a trip and am going to be there July 16-18. I graduated from California State University Sacramento in May with a degree in graphic design. I currently live in the San Francisico bay area, Martinez to be exact. I will be married for 4 years in August. I enjoy anything water related, swimming, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and jet-skiing. I have a cat named Summer, who we rescued. She only has one eye, and 4 teeth. She was pretty beat up when we found her, but she is the best animal we have ever had!

My name is, as you can probably decipher from me screen name, Don. I've always enjoyed going to Disneyland as a kid for the rides and the candy and Mickey. But it wasn't until I met one of my co-workers and asked her if she wouldn't mind taking a trip to the "Park" with me. That's when the "Magic" showed it's face and I came to realize that it truly was the happiest place on earth. Well, one year later we were married and this past March we celebrated our 11th Anniversary. (At the park of course!)

And speaking of 11th Anniversaries, last November, I celebrated the 11th Anniversary of my 29th Birthday! Yay!!! http://www.visionsfantastic.com/phpbb/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif (That's the hill my parents kept talking about) My wife and I were not able to have any children but that doesn't keep us from going to the "Park" as often as our 3.5 hour drive will let us and acting like kids! (Every couple weeks or so) Since we don't physically have any children, but both have enough love for many of them we decided to share our love with animals. Well...cats....14 of them. http://www.visionsfantastic.com/phpbb/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif Yes, I said 14. We have a three bedroom house and two of those rooms belong to our "Kids"

When I 'm not trying to herd the cats into their rooms or driving to the "Park", I'm driving to Santa Fe Springs, California for chorus rehearsal. You see, I sing in a 140 man barbershop chorus. We've won five straight International Chorus Championships and we will be going for our sixth this coming July in Salt Lake City, Utah. It means driving 3.5 hours TO rehearsal 3.5 hours AT rehearsal and 3.5 hours going home FROM rehearsal. (No wonder I put about 45,000 miles a year on my car.)

I think that's about it.... Oh, in my spare time http://www.visionsfantastic.com/phpbb/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif I LOVE computer graphics. I'm alway working on some project, like DVD covers, another VF members personalized avatars, (PM me if you want one) a new Flash video of the awesome VF jingle, and many other things. And when I'm not doing any of that, I volunteer at the local community theater helping them build and design their stage sets, lighting plots, working the sound and lighting boards, etc.... whew.... I'm tired!

And that's it! (Or at least that's all I have TIME for.)

EDIT: As of 7/9/05 the chorus I sing with won their 6th International Chorus Championship. So I now own TWO chorus gold medals!

Oh how rude of me, I haven't introduce myself. My name is Jeff, I am a huge Disney Fan and I will always be. I love Disneyland since I was a baby. I remember my mom take me to disneyland since i was 1 years old. I was sitting in the baby stroller and I saw Mickey standing in front me. Everyone crowded Mickey for a autograph and how he greet me. That's all I remember, it was back in 1991 when Fantasmic was in development. I never been to the 50th anniversary before. Because my mom said that she will take me to Disneyland around July or August with my friends. Every year, I go to Disneyland. I visit Disneyland Source the old website back in 2002 and then it is Visions Fantastic, the new website. I will always visit there when it has new updates and I also saved all of the audios and videos.

Plus with all the new paint and refurb all over the park I thought the name was on the mark. Other than that I am in British Columbia, Canada and have my plane, hotel, and park hopper tickets for August. Woo Hoo!!! I'm going to kiss Mickey right on the mouth! lol, ok Minnie then. Get a pic of that DaddyB! lol! I've been visiting VF before their change over to the new site, which is great btw, and ALWAYS download the videos and such to MY OWN COMPUTER just like EVERYONE SHOULD! :p I have almost every one so if you guys ever lose your files give me a shout lol. Any who, I can't wait for this term to be over so I can get to Disneyland and then slow down time to a crawl hehe. Pirates Space TOT Splash Mansion Astro Soarin Horn and GUMBO! Here I come!

Hey! I'm Philip, but most of my friends call me Caveman, claiming that I'm the missing link between the humans and the apes! I've been around since December of last year and check the boards almost every day. I'm 17 and just graduated from a Catholic school in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I have lived my whole life. Besides Disneyland, I love rock climbing, backpacking, fly fishing, photography, studying space travel, family, and my black lab, named Coal. I am what you would call a diehard Red Sox fan, which means I also HATE the yankees (hate is a very strong word and should only be used in context with the yankees).

Next year I'm off to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona, where I will be studying space physics. Any Disneyland fans in the Prescott area? I NEED A DISNEY BUDDY NEXT YEAR!

Hey everyone it's good to be back. My name is Stephen (AKA DizWiz). I'm a 17 year old senior here in sunny San Diego, CA. Just a heads up: I LOVE Disneyland! Probably too much for my own good ;). I am lucky enough to have the privilege of being one this fine websites photographers. When I not doing things related to Disney I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, wake boarding, boogie boarding (someday I'll learn how to surf), snow boarding, and most of all drumming in one of the two bands I'm in: Flatline and Lighter Fluid Grandma. Flatline is a metal/core band and Lighter Fluid Grandma is a so called "British indy/rock band from SoCal." I absolutely love participating in these boards! They are smaller than some of the other forums out their which is a good thing as the larger boards can seem rather overwhelming and impersonal. I have been with Visions Fantastic since the very beginning, all the way back when it used be Disneyland Source with the blue backgrounds. In fact I was the very first user to register on the old boards. I look forward to reading all your posts this summer. See you at the parks!

- Steve

Howdy, I'm from Idaho - but we don't really talk that way. My name is Jessica but my NAME is disneymooner for 2 reasons: that's where I honeymooned and also because when I'm not there I moon over it. I'm only able to get there once a year (it's so darn expensive, but worth it), so the rest of the year I'm visiting these websites and planning my next trip so I don't feel as lonesome for it. You could say we are truly a family of Disneyland fans. Our 12 year old was conceived on our honeymoon to Disneyland. We try to go at least once a year. This year we are going in December and we are going to actually stay onsite at the Disneyland Hotel. Second year running. We are looking forward to celebrating our favorite places birthday.

I enjoy reading these discussion boards and hearing all the news about Disneyland and the California Adventure. You'll not hear a single negative word from me about either park....

Hi, my name is Laurie & am fascinated with this site, It has beautiful pictures & really great videos !! I live in Oregon & am married (21 yrs now) with 4 boys 20, 18, 16 & a 4 yr old we're adopting. We have been foster parents for 6 years & Anthony (the one we're adopting) started with us at 14 months as a foster child, so we're glad to be finally making him "official". We are leaving for our dream vacation tomorrow (June 27-July 7) to Disneyland. This will be the first time for my children & I can't wait to see their reactions ! I went twice as a child & my hubby & I were there right after we were married, so its been a long time since I've been there. I'm really excited to be able to experience the 50th Anniversary & see all the changes that have occured over the years.

I love to ride "Peter Pan's Flight", "Pinocchio's Daring Journey", "Alice in Wonderland" and all the other rides in Fantasyland! Oh, I forgot to tell you, I don't like the fast rides. I really LOVE Disneyland!!! I hardly ever get to go there because of the expensive prices. I L-O-V-E LOVE Disneyland.

Hello! I'm Meagan, a SAHM to Victoria (6.5) and Addison (3.5), we live in Seattle.

We just got back from an 8 day DL trip 3 weeks ago and I'm in severe withdrawl already  I was doing a search last night looking for DL music and came upon this site, looks like a fun place! I just found out the other day that we could have upgraded our 5 day park hopper pass to an annual pass for pretty cheap. I'm just sick that I missed out on this opportunity. I called today to see if there were a slim chance that we could still do this and unfortunately it's a no go :icon_cry:

Anyways, looking forward to getting to know you all

Hehe that's neat. I don't have any attachment to the Tigers really, but I'm an Angels fan and every summer when I'm home for vacation and go to a game, it's always seemed to be against the Tigers. And now the tigers have Percy, who I always enjoyed with the Angels and miss(especially his earthumping charge to the mound entrance ;) Does he still use Godsmack over in detroit?)

Oh btw, hi! I'm Almandot. And I'm an enigma. Not like I'm mysterious or anything, but that my head is actually made of a rubix cube.

Hello! I recently came upon this site when I was on a quest to find a clip of the Fantasmic! Show, and I found myself loving all that this site has to offer.

I am a Disneyland freak. My family usually goes there every year, I'm 16 now and it started when I was probably 2. Let's just say, I can't get lost in the park no matter how hard I try.

Recently was probably the most Disneyfied I will ever become. This past X-mas, my family took a trip to DisneyWorld and it was...well, freaking sweet. I have been there about 4 years before (or something like that), but X-mas in DisneyWorld is awesome. Our family promised not to go into Disneyworld on x-mas day, but we found ourselves bored. We winded up at Animal Kingdom, and it was raining really hard.

3 Months after was my spring break. My father let me take two of my friends with me to Disneyland. I took the two friends that have never been there before, and it was the best Disney trip ever. The one memory that sticks out from all the rest is when we had a plan to see the Snow White Show because we are all theatre freaks. It started to rain lightly, and we got our panchos out. Except for one. My guy friend left it in the hotel. Anyway, We were first in line to get into the show, my guy friend was now soaked to the bone since the rain decided to get harder, and we were eating icecream.

So, picture it, if you will 3 Teenagers, eating icecream, laughing at the one who forgot the pancho waiting for the show to start.

Anyway, I live in a small city where I have fun doing tech for my highschool's theatre. All my friends are part of the theatre company and we are dreading the year of '07. The year we graduate.

But hey, at least our marching band in the year '07 might be going to Disneyworld.

Really I miss Eck and Glaus really badly. It's so strange looking at Glaus in Arizona pinstripes!! I miss Percy too he really was a big piece of the Angels. But right now I'm not worrying too much of those that left us and watching the Angels play to the 2005 World series with players like Vlad, Finley and Paul Byrd who is pretty good.

I also compete in Special Olympics as an athlete in skiing during the winter season and golf in the summer season, plus I take part in a bowling league in the autumn-winter season too. My hobbies are bike riding, Climb The Big Mountain in Whitefish, Montana that occures each summer, hanging out in the malls, going to see good movies with my brother Jason, listening to audiotapes & cds, mowing the lawn and watering flowers, etc. Jason (my younger brother) and I have been to Disneyland in 1986 after my graduation from Ronan High School with our parents, the Big Sky Montana Brothers (Jason Montana Grizzlies and Scott Montana State Bobcats) have gone by ourselves twice to the Magic Kingdom in 1998 and 2000. And in 2004 the Oliverson Family went to visit Walt Disney World during Spring College Break in April which was the worst month to go, great scott!

Although I won't be able to take part in the 50th Anniversary Birthday Celebration at Disneyland-USA in Anaheim, California when it debues on July 17, 2005 I will be able to participate at Visions Fantastic when the new and improved 2.0 website comes online instead!

Greetings all. I'm making my first post here to the cafe. I just joined last week. I've come into all things Disney a little later in life than most. My wife thinks I've gone nutty. I'm 35 and have a 4 mo old and can't wait to indoctrinate her into Walt's world. I'll be at Disneyland in 3 weeks and can't wait. It's my first trip to the original. I've been to WDW a few times. I am from Tennessee and though I mention Davy Crockett, I'm actually kin to William Barrett Travis, his co-hort at the Alamo. I don't think Fess Parker ever made it to San Antonio in his role...:)

Take care all. Feel free to offer up advice on my trip in 3 weeks. I know it will be crowded.

Hi, I'm Steve aka Retired Sub Driver. I used to work at Disneyland as a Attractions Host, ride operator on the Submarines, Tommorowland Autopia and Space Mountain from 1979 to late 1981. My favorite ride to operate was of course... The Submarine Voyage. I still go to Disneyland about twice a year, and can't wait for the re-opening of Space Mountain. But, I will always miss my boats... The Nautulas, The Skipjack, and The Patrick Henry, just to name a few.

So, if you ever see a lone sailor gazing over the lagoon, come over and introduce yourself!

Hello All~
I am new to this message board, but have visited the site quite a bit for all the great mutlimedia and picture updates. Sometimes this is the only way to get a Disney Fix. I live in Washington state and only get to Disneyland once a year. I am a big Disney freak and don't mind saying so. My favorite character is Tinker Bell and Mickey Mouse (of course) Mulan is one of my favorite Disney FLAC's. My family is making their annual trip to Disneyland on July 17th. I know chances are slim that we will get in, but we are going to keep trying. Even if we can only get in for about 10 minutes...we just want to be in the park on the 50th. Anywho, see ya around the boards. :)

I WILL be there on the 17th. And if they dont let me in, in honor of the 50th, I will trick my way in, like so many people did on opening day!...lol...jk.

I will admit, I joined for the new Mulit-Shot, Remember...Dreams Come True video, but I will be sure to stick around.

BTW, I have been a long time fan of all parks, and Disneyland is my favorite.

Hello everyobody. My name is Scott. I live in Elk Grove,Ca. I have been a member since the site was The Disneyland Source, but recently had to re-register. Like everybody else here, I love theme parks with Disneyland being my favorite. My parents used to take the family at least 3-4 times a year when we were kids. I would sit on pins and needles just waiting to go. I still to this day have withdrawls if I havnt visited Disneyland in a while. I took my son to Disneyland back in 2003 and have not been able to visit since,so you could only guess how much I eagerly want to go back. I now have a 5 month old daughter and am getting ready to go through a certain 10 month academy ( I cant say exactly what) so it looks like my Disney fix wont happen until late next year. I really, REALLY wanted to be there for the opening of SPACE MOUNTAIN. :( Oh well, enough about me. On to the next person!

So nice to finally find a place chock full of Disney aficionados such as myself. Hello gang! My name's Mike, and I'm 24 years old, living in Honolulu Hawaii! I will be moving back to California in September because I simply cannot stand being stuck here on this island instead of being a few hour car drive from Disneyland (my preferred method of travel). I love to take sporadic trips to Disneyland whenever I get the urge, and I usually end up taking lots of pictures and posting them on my website. Click here to take a look at some of my Disneyland photos! (http://www.justplainmike.com/disneyland2.htm) It really feels good to be able to enter Disneyland and leave the real world behind, and become immersed in the magic, beauty, fantasy, and innocence that Disneyland pumps back into your veins! I'm such a Disney fanatic that I will admit right here and now that any girl who fails to appreciate and love disney as much as I do will never make it to girlfriend status with me. I have to have a girlfriend that I can go to Disneyland with... come on... after dark the place screams romance. You gotta have that person to hug and hold while watching the fireworks or enjoying Fantasmic! I even hope to get married in Disneyland... does that make me a certified Disney freak? Anyhoo... there's my introduction. Please feel free to message me. I'd love to hear from you soon!

Been married for 5 years. We live in the Bay Area so it's easy for us to run to DL on the spur of the moment. Example: Decided to go for New Years on Dec. 29th =o) We try to go atleast once maybe twice a year. Been to WDW once many years ago.

I live in the Midwest (Illinois), so I mainly visit Six Flags Great America. It's great and all, but being from California originally, Disneyland is my favorite park. Anywhere. Anywho, I feel this is the best Disneyland sites out there and youse crazies should keep up the fantastic work. Yup.

Hello everybody...

I'm Joe... and I live down here in San Diego California, where I work with the National Comedy Theatre. I only mention that because the cast of D.U.H (in DCA) and Laughing Stock (in Frontierland) was hired out of our ranks, and I'm always happy to plug the shows for them. Ive only recently started commenting and posting on the boards, but I love hearing from everyone.

Hi-
My name is Josh. I am originally from Long Beach, CA. I grew up going to DL religiously twice a year my whole life. I even worked in the Entertainment Department for several years before September 11th hit and I joined the Air Force. I am now stationed in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am actually serving a tour over here in Iraq and am anxious to get home to my family in CA and visit DL for the first time in a long time...

Hi everyone, I'm Jessica. I thought my username would be cute, so I chose that =)

Well I'm new, and just thought I'd introduce myself to the crowd. I really admire Walt Disney for what he's created and love everyone who appreciates Disney-anything as much as I do. So I'm pretty much grateful for this site because it kinda brings magic to everyone, anywhere! And it's so great because everyone I meet here is always sooo friendly...thanks!
Lots of love!

I'm back! I finally could get in, thanks Chris! :p The site looks GREAT!!

I'm from L.A. originally so grew up with Disneyland but I'm now living in Melbourne, Australia so getting to go to DL is a MAJOR event and treat for me!! I won't make it for the big day (sob sob) but I'll be there sometime during the whole celebration. I will be checking in over here to hear all about what happened, that is, as much as I can take without pain!!

I LOVE the park, I LOVE the magic of it and truly my best childhood memories are from times spent there. I love all the Disney classic films with special nods for Bambi and the Christmas specials. But I'm a very big fan of The Little Mermaid too.

I'm just so glad to have a place to share all this with others!!

You mean I gotta do this again?!

Ok....

Names Rick, and I've been a member of VF for quite a loooong time now, even back when it was referred to as the Disneyland Source.

I'd like to say that I'm a Disneyland and Walt Disney historian, although there are a lot of people on here that know WAY more than me. Still, it doesn't stop me from playing 'pretend tourguide' when I go to the park with people I've never been with. I'll go to the park by myself, with friends, rain, shine, it doesn't matter to me.

'Bout me: 23, in San Diego (overrated), married, no kids, always stressing, always wanting to go to disneyland.

Next!

G'day, i'm a Disney fan from Sydney, Australia. I've been to the Disneyland Resort about 8 months ago for my first time and i enjoyed every minute of the experience. I like this site because of all the videos of the attractions (it keeps my memory fresh).

I've been reading about rumors of Disney Downunder in some local aussie sites, and if they turn out to be true we might have our own resort....(sweet).

Hi, I'm very new at this. On line I'm Liserbell but you can just call Lisa. I used to live in California and go to Disneyland many times a year. Now I'm too far away and way too broke to go at all. I have hopes of going when my son turns seven. I'm saving up now.

I want to thank you for this site and this community. It makes the waiting so much easier. And it's such a great way to introduce my son to my great love.

Hello everybody! My name is Aaron and I am 31 yrs old, ex-military and working in the IT industry now as a network administrator. I am still a Disneyland freak and I don't think I'll ever grow out of it! When I was in Iraq, I remember dreaming of the things I missed about home and one of the biggest was being at home going to Disneyland with friends and family. God bless AMERICA!!!

I have been a huge fan of VF since like 2001 or so, when it was Disneylandsource.com, because it was the best source for the videos that I could find and relive that childhood fun. I remember it came down for a awhile and I was so bummed. Then surfing one day I saw that it was back, bigger and better than ever, and soon VF will be completely ver 2.0! AWESOME!!!! Hopefully I can get to know some of you fellow DL lovers!

My name is Hans Wagner (kind of boring, I know lol), and I am a huuuge and lifelong Disneyland fan. Love the site, due to this website I am going to start making my former schedule of Disneyland once a year a reality again. After watching the videos, I was reminded so much of how things used to be... I forgot how fun life was back then.

I also noticed that I have the same birthday as the site administrator, so I figured that there is some good karma going on here, lol!

I look forward to getting to know some of you, and I want to thank you in advance for the help that I am sure you are going to be giving me on effectively planning my trips after so many years out of the loop. 8 years is far too long for a Disneyland kid to go without getting to come "home".

Hi, I am Ishkabible. My first trip to Disneyland Park was on my 4th birthday in October 1955 (I still vividly remember the crush of gravel beneath my feet in the as yet unpaved parking lot), my last trip: this past Sunday, July 17th 2005 - their 50th anniversary. I?m pleased and proud to have personally logged every ride and attraction in the only park Walt ever set foot upon. My personal peeves are the AP and those misguided few that think the spike in the castle foyer marks the original park center (get a map, get a ruler.) I believe in my heart-of-hearts that Disneyland is sacred ground and that Roy Jr. and Stanley Gold will prove to be our park saviors?

There are a couple of ways. First, you can tour the park at http://visionsfantastic.com/main.php?page=disneylandpark

Within each attraction or show page there are links to videos in our Gallery. Clicking on a link will bring up a Gallery page. Once there, just click on the Castle (with the word 'video' on it). You'll be prompted to save the video or open it. Choose save, download the video, and watch it with Windows Media Player! Please visit the Site Feedback forum if you are still having trouble!

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum, though I have been pouring over the Visions Fantastic site for quite a while now. Best Disneyland site around! I'm 19 and about halfway through my program torwards being a Travel Agent (grad in late December) I live in BC Canada, but my parents are both from California, so I have dual citizenship...so in January-May sometime I will hopefully be moving to Anaheim. Work in the Walt Disney Travel Co. Agency, or call center...and audition to be a Character or a singer in one of the shows. We'll see what happens, but I really hope I can do this. I've been to Disneyland about 10 times, and I can't wait to go back again! Anyhoo, great to join this forum :p

P.S. I am obsesed with Ariel ;)

New to this site just today!! I was just at Disneyland with my family on July 16th-22nd. So, we were there for the actual 50th anniversary celebration and talk about crazy! If you wanted to walk around like a penguin for hours, that was the place to be. Had a blast though. Got plenty of misc. footage and fireworks were amazing.

Just here to talk about it. I wanna go back!!!

Hi everybody !

I'm new here, so I thought it would be nice and polite if I'd introduce myself just a little.
My name is Nadine but you may go with my pseudo, Naia. I come from Belgium and my native language is French but I speak English fluently. I registered here because this website is one of my favorite ones and of course because I am a Disney freak!
As far as I can remember (and it's a loooooong time, well not so long actually! :old_wink:), I have always loved Disney cartoons and comic strips. I really discovered Disney through the parks, in 1979/80. I was an exchange student back then and I was lucky enough to be placed in Orlando, Florida. You can bet I was hanging around at Disney World lots of times. I have come back since then... I couldn't tell you exactly how many times but it should be close to 25 or 30 times. I have visited Disneyland in L.A. as well (just once) and Disneyland in Paris (might be twice). Only Tokyo is missing to my "hunting gallery"...
I just love it there. Can't help it. And I'm sure glad to see that I am not the only one still goofin' around with Disney at my age! :icon_lol:
I wish you all to dream strong enough to make your dreams real!

HI everybody! My name is Andrew! my username includes part of my last name which is Hungarian. now that I have seen these really cool avatars I am jealous. I would have had an awesome username that fit my avatar. I was born in California and have been to Disneyland at least once a year faithfully. I regret that since I am a starving college student I can not go to Disneyland to see any the 50th Celebration :frown: But I look forward to going again soon.

I am very new to this site! In fact I have already done an oops. I posted a trivia question out of turn. I am sorry to those trivia players. I hope to visit visions fantastic everyday and learn new things about all of the members. and maybe give to visions fantastic what it has given me... Happiness and excitement.

I want to recognize the Staff at Visions fantastic for the "Happiest Web Site on Earth". I also love the radio station! WAY TO GO GUYS!!!

If you want to you can see my website to learn about me! I don't want to take up too much room on these posts. http://www.cwu.edu/~alsoszaa/

Thanks to all who have welcomed me to a great online community and I hope to get to know you all!

DisneylandGirl
07-28-2005, 03:59 PM
As you can see I am Disneyland Girl. I have been going to Disneyland from before I was born. I always like to say that the first time was in my Mom's belly. Which is true. I grew up in Los Angeles and my Dad worked for the phone company and when I was young his company used to have their own night for employees and their family at Disneyland. That was always nice because of course the lines were not long.

Anyway I have gone to Disneyland at least once a year. I have gone twice this year. Recently on July 17th. Just being there and knowing that 50 years ago that day Walt opened this wonderful park to all of us is and was overwhelming to me. I was there at about 5:30am and just had a blast in line. My favorite part was walking down Main Street and having the Cast Members waving at you. That day will always be a special memory for me.

So I have lived in Northern California for the past 9 years. Which puts a damper on how often I am able to go. But of course that does not stop me. Whenever I go on vacation I usually tell people "I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND, I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND". Hope to see you there.

Howdy, dudies and dudetties! My name is Jon and I'm planning my first visit back to Disneyland since I was a wee lad (I was always going "weeeeeeeeeeeee.")

This time, I'm taking my wife and two sons, ages 11 and 6. I didn't know them when I was 10.

My favorite Disney character is...can you guess? Yes, that's right! Mrs. Brill from "Mary Poppins"! Kidding, of course. My favorite is King Louie because he embodies my many loves: Louis Prima, swing and other forms of jazz, monkeys, playing with fire, dancing with bears in coconut bras and grass skirts, and Disney.

My favorite Disney attraction is probably Main Street USA. I love just being there. The ride I like most is probably Splash Mountain. It's a journey filled with fun, surprises and mystery (just what *IS* in that water?).

Uh...what else? I'm a Pisces, just like the Little Mermaid. Oh, my favorite Disney film is "Aladdin." Though my favorite favorite film of all time is "Blazing Saddles." My favorite Disney animator is Ward Kimball. I love the chocolate chocolate-chip muffins at the Main Street Bakery, Dole Whips and pretty much everything on the menu at Ghiradelli's. And, yes, I'm still able to maintain my girlish figure!

Hello everyone, my name is Tim. I live in FL and Im a huge Disney fan. Never been to DL, but Im working on it. I go to WDW every weekend with my girlfriend and Im ready for DL. Ive meet quite a few people on the boards since last night with my big commotion "How to cheat a fastpass" post. I look forward to talking to everyone and getting to know you guys. I cant really relate to your favorite rides and attractions because they are different but I pic a new favorite park and ride every month. This month my favorite is Disneys MGM Studios and The Tower Of Terror. Last month was EPCOT and Mission: Space. I rotate each month just to change things up. In August I think I will favor Animal Kingdom and DINOSAUR.

Hi - I love this website, its gorgeous! I love Disneyland, Walt Disney, most everything Disney, except some of the new cheesy stuff.

My favorite place is New Orleans square. I love it.

When I was 17, I ran away from home to go to Disneyland. I knew my mom wouldn't let me go, so I just went. There are worse things a kid can do, I think. It was totally worth it - the wrath that I had to face when I got home.

I try to go at least once a year, I would like to move closer so that I can buy a season pass and go much more often.

Hi! My name is Nancy and I'm from Chico, California. Even though I live 500 miles away from Disneyland, I'm a premium annual passholder. My best friend and I both LOVE Disneyland so we leave our husbands and kids at home and fly down to DLR four or five times a year. Now before you turn me in for child abuse, our kids are both in their 20's and not the least bit interested in Disneyland! I know, hard to believe!

I work in a very busy dental office as one of the front office staff. I love my job and my boss gets a kick out of my Disney addiction. He even went as far as letting me get a Mickey tattoo on my lower right molar! I love showing it off to the kids and telling them I got it done at the dentist on Main Street at Disneyland! I know, shame on me for telling lies...but you should see their faces!

My friend and I are in the process of starting a new business doing Princess Tea Parties for little girls birthdays. We secretly want to be a princess and live in Sleeping Beauty's castle so we figured this would be the next best thing!

My favorite ride is Indy and I absolutly LOVE Dole whips!!!! In fact, I'd give my right eye for one right now! Mmmmm!
