Aww, I'm sorry that happens. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you picked get picked on for liking musical theatre especially because you're
male. The sentiment is similar to how some so-called "masculine" men make fun of other men who are involved in dance, ballet, etc. Apparently you're not a "man" if you dig that type of activity and if you
do like ballet and musicals you're either a female or homosexual.
Some people in this world just need to go away.
