I used it for some, yup!! Most of the on-ride stuff - Tiki, IJA, and Splash - was all shot with the 1.8 (using 1600 ISO and aperture priority, so I wouldn't have to adjust the shutter speed as I flew by).
I totally lucked out on Alice. I thought she was gonna be obscured by the vine, but I got reaaaaaaally lucky!
