A friend and I took a trip from Sacramento to Anaheim for our vacation at the Disneyland Resort. We took the coastal route through San Francisco, Santa Barbara, etc. It was an INCREDIBLY fun trip.
Funny part is that it took us between 12 and 13 hours to ride the train from Sacramento to Anaheim when we could have driven it in six or seven.
But if you like the train and make that PART of your vacation, it's great. Got to catch up on a lot of reading on the trip. It was great!

Just wondering, how can a train ride take longer than a car ride? I would be thinking that a train ride is faster than driving a car.
