On a couple of Disneyland-related websites, there has been talk about retheming the Condor Flats area. It is said that WDI, along with lots of guests, think that the Condor Flats "desert" idea doesn't work. The ride itself doesn't even go near a desert, and deserts are not very attractive and have almost no theming or scenery whatsoever (duh ).
So, they are thinking of either retheming it to a more technical and machine-related landscape (I LOVE this idea!), or retheming it to a purely Golden State landscape with WAY more trees and plants.
Both ideas are great and could really bring the area much needed attention!
