I like the WDW finale where Mickey pulls the Sword from the Stone, but no need to make it so long. I mean, you could have what's currently there (minus all the dancing) with Mick pulling the Sword in the Stone out, the water dousing the flames, etc. but just have Disneyland's music. The other things I have problems with?
The stage and seating arrangements:
I like the stage with the mountain, and I hope that soon in the future they will get a giant Chernabog puppet for that. What I don't like is how it's in a stadium ala Sea World. the Disneyland version adds to the fact that it's magical and not a show.
the Pocahontas scene:
1. Fantasmic is about fantasy and not history, which is why I love the Peter Pan sequence.
2. Where's all the action? Peter and Hook and the crew do tons and tons of action that sometimes goes over the water, suspended in midair, and tons of stuff. the Pochahontas scene is a bunch of settlers and Native Americans running around while fighting.
the fact Pinochhio isn't in the show:
I personally like the bubble montage, and we made a new one at the New Disney Resort thread, but without Pinochio, Jiminy Cricket's quote barely makes sense.
Villain Sequence:
I like all the villains and the fact they have a lot, which suggests a more evil bad side. We even did this at the New Disney Resort with a small scene that scrolls down to show tons of villains laughing menacingly. But what was the need of Jafar and the lamp? Mickey should have only went to Maleficent without destroying another villain.
The finale:
No problem whatsoever, but why is the boat so small? The big Mark Twain provides a nice, grand, triumphant feeling with fifty characters as compared to thirty.
