After watching the video, it is not the X-ray effect. But the x-ray effect is common. In modeling, if you have an object with an opening in it, like the gaps between the catwalks, its sometimes easier, to just make that solid, but put a clear, translucent texture on it, so it looks like its a gap. This happens to people who make Light fixtures, and glass textures. What it does, is you cannot see any scenary through it. Just People, and Tracks. So any thats in that area becomes invisible, or you can see through it, hence its called x-ray effect or issue or whatever. But since on the video you could still see the cars, and the walls and stuff, its not because of the x-ray effect its a Draw distance problem. CS usually doesn't have good draw distance. So when your far way, it becomes invisible, and thats why you saw the grass on the other side. However, if thats the case, then most of those blocks should be invisible, and when you look through the steps you can't see the track. Very odd... Im not sure whats going on lol.
