And if someone asks you to not bring knives or weapons into somewhere, and asks that you remove them if they see them on you, there's no reason to think you're being accused of bloodlust. They have rules, period, and those rules are applied to everyone for everyone's safety. No one's singled out, unless you've slipped through the cracks somehow & are caught somewhere in the park. That's where trouble happens.
If you want to save yourself the trouble, just cooperate with the rules you know are there. It's not about you, or your weapon, it's about the safety of everyone. Just like everyone has to wear seat belts on the rides that have them, and harnesses on the rides that have those. It's all about safety. Disney has every right to make and enforce rules that make the park as safe as possible.
