I usually rent whatever's just coming out on that Tuesday that I really want to see. I just make sure to have a small queue and to return so that it arrives on Monday so they'll ship the latest release that day. Occasionally I'll pick up some older movie that Mrs. DaddyB and I happened to mention, or think the kids are ready to see (like the Indy Jones movies).

I've got the movies on laserdisc or on DVD already, but almost all of our stuff is in storage and it's easier to rent it than to climb over our while life to get to the DVD boxes.

I'll probably be selling my laserdiscs and players pretty soon. About 500 movies. I'm trying to lighten my load. Five months of living with very little has really shown us that we're carrying around too much 'stuff' (aka JUNK) from house to house.

Will probably be selling off a lot of my Disney collection too. Complete PVC playsets from just about every Disney movie. Unopened (and opened) sets of McDonalds toys from the past 15 years... stuff like that. Oh, the cool Villains collectible dolls and the die-cast ride vehicles, too. Just too much stuff in boxes that never make it out of the boxes.
