Accommodating an employee's physical limitations in the workplace is supported by law (with some exceptions), requiring support of an employee's chosen religion is not. There is a major difference in choice: one can proclaim they follow Islam, Christianity, etc. at any time, but one doesn't choose to have a genetic disposition to being overweight.
