Here are some of the differences that haven't been metioned.

Scale
DL - A lot of Disneyland, especially Main Street, USA was built using an old movie trick called forced perspective. Basically it means the buildings are normal size on the ground floor, 9/10 scale on the second floor and 5/8 scale on the third floor. Accordingly, a lot of Disneyland attractions (Steam trains, Columbia, etc) are scaled down too.

MK - Most of it is full size consistently through the park. Including the steam trains.

Castle
DL - Sleeping Beauty's castle was built like a real castle and has a working draw bridge.

MK - Cinderella's castle is largely made of fiberglass and the draw bridge doesn't work. But there is a restaurant inside and of course the Dream Suite.

Fantasyland
DL - Most of Fantasyland was remodeled in 1983 to give it more of a European village feel. You'll see the same architecture in the Germany pavilion at Epcot wheich was also created around the same time. Not a coincidence but a metter of convenience.

MK - A lot of Fantasyland still looks like the original DL Fantasyland pre-1983 remodel. Some think it's nostalgic but personally I think it feels kind of cheap.

Pathways
DL - This is very subtle until it is pointed out. Most DL pathways have a curve that don't show you what's around the bend. For example the path from Frontierland to Critter Country or the path from Fantasyland to Frontierland.

MK - The pathways are relatively straight with a clear trail to what's ahead.

Covered Attractions
DL - Many attractions are out in the open where you can enjoy the sunshine.

MK - Some attractions like Teacups and the Tomorrowland Transportation Authority (People Mover) are covered to protect you from the rain.
