As for adding effects, the moving heads (the lights that move) have gobos, which are cut outs of pictures, so it projects stuff. And the light changes color behind it, thats how they did the moving dancers in RSM. They may have DL1's (ha Disneyland DL)

thats a DL one, its a projector that sits on a moving base. We've got one at our school its sweet. Its plugged into a video server, ( a computer or something) and then we record a show with the path of the image. And voila you have a moving image. All they'd have to do is load in a new video which would take not much time at all.
But I still doubt their gonna do that.

just found out the price for one DL1 and it is $23,000 now I really wnat to see Rockin return!!
