This is a thread about a meet but not in the 'come join us' sense, so I figured this is the best place for it instead of the Meets & Events forum.
Your VF friends PeoplemoverMatt and RankoAnime are going to be absent from VF for a while during our 5 day trip to Tokyo Disney Resort! While neither one of us really speaks Japanese at all, RankoAnime knows a little bit so we hope we'll be able to manage.
We'll be leaving this Saturday 5/27 and will be there until we return on 6/2. Here's our skeletal itinerary:
- 5/27: Leave for Tokyo Narita Airport on Japan Airlines (JAL)
- 5/28: Arrive at Tokyo, ride train to Hilton Tokyo Bay hotel, buy after 6pm pass to Tokyo DisneySea & ride Journey to the Center of the Earth before it closes!
- 5/29: Visit Tokyo Disneyland
- 5/30: Visit Tokyo DisneySea
- 5/31: Park-hop between TDL/TDS
- 6/1: Exploration Day! Visits to LaQua, various points of interest and Sega Joypolis
- 6/2: Leave for return to USA on JAL, arrive home around 11:30am PDT
Now I'm betting the first word on all of your minds is: PICTURES! Well worry not because by then I'm sure between the two of us we'll have enough pictures to make my 400 picture WDW Pictoral Project seem like a pocket photo album. RankoAnime plans to bring a 2GB photo card & I'll have my trusty camera some of you have grown to know & love through my Yahoo! photo albums. I even plan on having a second battery on me so I can take maybe 200-250 pics per day and not about half that. Trust me, we'll cover every inch of the grounds there to satisfy all of your curiosities.
We aim to have a great time, we're going to Find Stitch I'm sure. (And I really fear for Stitch once RankoAnime gets her hands on him
) I don't think we'll have internet access, but I don't know for sure. Right now I'm not counting on it, so after Saturday we'll see you all again the following Friday. Wish us luck and pray that we have happy, wonderful & safe time over there. I'm sure we'll be thinking of all of you many times while running around trying to capture it all. =P
I want to open the door now to any photo/ride requests anyone has, as well as any tips or hints or words of encouragement anyone out there has. We're certainly getting excited as our day of depature nears! =)
