A COLORFUL HOMECOMING – The Elliot dragon float from the classic 1977 Disney film “Pete’s Dragon” travels down the parade route at Disneyland park for the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade. The massive float decorated in thousands of twinkling green lights weighs 5,600 pounds, and measures 16 feet tall, 10 feet wide and 38 feet long. Disneyland’s Main Street Electrical Parade

The classic parade returns to Disneyland for a limited time! Over half a million twinkling lights take to the parade route evenings at Disneyland. The parade, originally begun in 1972, has also been featured at Walt Disney World before returning to the park this year. The parade runs through August 20.

The parade may not be operating due to inclement weather. See schedule for details.

 

MICKEY’S SOUNDSATIONAL PARADE  The sound of dynamic rhythms and bold percussion will accompany beloved Disney characters as they stomp and strut along Main Street, U.S.A., in the new Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, premiering Friday, May 27. The parade brings to life characters and melodies from Disney films with more than 90 performers, as Mickey Mouse and his pals get the Disneyland crowd into the beat of this giant jam session. Mickey’s Soundsational Parade features nine parade floats, each designed in the style of a children’ss ‘pop-up’ story book with eye-catching visuals and whimsical details. This daytime parade features Mickey Mouse leading a rocking beat of Disney Characters and Disney Princesses.

Be aware there is no seating along the parade corridor until close to showtime. Audience members must remain behind roped off areas.

This fireworks spectacular original debuted as part of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. The show features an extended segment of Disneyland attractions and shows from the past. It also contains segments and songs from the WDW version of the ‘Wishes’ fireworks spectacular. The show is narrated by Julie Andrews. Definitely should not be missed!

The Rivers of America come alive in this newly updated and refreshed ultimate battle between good and evil. Don’t miss an all-new Aladdin segment coming Summer 2017! Fantasmic! requires a Fastpass for admission for the ideal experience (although a small limited number of viewing areas can be used without Fastpass). ‘Camping out’ before the show is no longer permitted.

Tomorrowland Terrace Stage – Jedi Training Academy

During the day, be sure to catch the new Jedi Training Academy, a stage show where young audience members are invited up to the stage to learn various Jedi techniques. A surprise visit from Darth Vader and Darth Maul gives young cadets a chance to how what they’ve learned. Disney’s World of Color

Disney’s World of Color in Paradise Bay at Disney California Adventure. This spectacular water show takes place in Paradise Bay. Through the use of projections, water and mist effects, you’ll be brought into the worlds of Disney and Pixar animated films.

KRISTOFF TAKES ANNA TO THE TROLLS IN ‘FROZEN – LIVE AT THE HYPERION’ — A new theatrical interpretation for the stage based on Disney’s animated blockbuster film, Frozen is now playing at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park. The show immerses audiences in the emotional journey of Anna and Elsa with all of the excitement of live theater, including elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects and show-stopping production numbers. Disney’s ‘Frozen – Live at the Hyperion’

A re-telling of the Disney film “Frozen” with a live on-stage performance featuring advanced theatrical effects and lighting. This musical performance plays several times throughout the day. Be sure to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to performance for the best seating.

Performing throughout the day in front of the Carthay Circle, this “traveling” musical and singing group arrives in a jalopy. Shows begin at 10:05AM and continue throughout the day.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates has landed at Disney California Adventure as part of “Disney Junior – Live on Stage!” a theme park show created for young guests. Co-starring in the show are the casts of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Little Einsteins — other shows that are part of the Disney Junior schedule on Disney Channel. Like the previous show (“Playhouse Disney–Live on Stage”), “Disney Junior–Live on Stage!” is presented several times during the day at Disney California Adventure.
